Process of soap making

Take a one-pound piece of baby soap and rub itits a large grater. We pour soap chips into a bowl, add one hundred and fifty grams of liquid, a tablespoon of base oil (olive, castor) and put the bowl in a water bath. Now add to the soap base the melter (a teaspoon of honey or sugar or a couple of chocolate slices) and start to cook the soap, stirring constantly and making the whole of our mix become a thick, viscous mass. Ready liquid soap for consistency should resemble condensed milk. Attention! To boil liquid soap it is impossible in any case. Once the mass has become homogeneous, we add essential oil (flavor) to it and any supplements planned or prescribed according to the prescription: oat flakes, ground coffee, lemon zest, dried medicinal herbs and so on. We remove the soap from the water bath and, if necessary, add a dye: no more than five drops, natural, not more than two teaspoons. At the end of the hot stage of preparation of soap, we put in it flavoring - five to seven drops of special perfume or essential oil. Now we pour the soap over the molds, greased with vegetable oil, and leave it untouched for two or three hours. You can clean the molds in the refrigerator to speed up the process of solidifying the soap. Hardened soap is carefully taken out of the molds and laid out on a tray covered with food film or paper. To "mature" a full-fledged handmade soap, we need about two weeks. soap making at home from baby soap recipes
