Now we put the salad in portions on plates, and put the feta cubes and olives on top. Note: Determine the amount of products yourself (to your taste). And as a guide, keep in mind that the vegetables for the Greek salad should be taken in equal quantities.
Fruit salad with Feta
The salad is prepared quickly, and its recipe captivates with unusual ingredients for a salad. Of course, this recipe is for true gourmets. And still try to prepare this salad. Ingredients:
- 250 grams of homemade plum;
- 250 g of light grapes;
- 1 small onion;
- 100 g of feta cheese;
- a few leaves of cabbage salad;
- 20 g of chopped nuts;
- 100 g of aromatic spicy cheese.
For the sauce:
- juice from 1 lemon;
- salt;
- sugar;
- 1 pinch of ginger powder;
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil.
Wash the plums and grapes and dry them with paper towels.napkin, and tear off the stems from the plums. Cut the plums in half or quarters (depending on their size). Remove the grapes from the bunch, cut them in half and remove the pits. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Cut the hard cheese into long strips and the feta into cubes. Rinse the lettuce leaves well, shake off the water and line the bottom of the salad bowl with them. Mix the plums, grapes, cheese and onions, place them on the lettuce leaves and pour over the sauce. Place the feta cubes on top and sprinkle everything with nuts. To prepare the sauce, pour the lemon juice into a saucepan and mix with a pinch of sugar and salt, then add the ginger and butter and mix everything again. Serve black bread with butter with the salad. Note: Cheeses with herbs and vegetables are called piquant. Among the famous piquant cheeses we can name, for example, “Pipiro” and “Yalatoris” (with pepper), “Basilis” (with basil) and “Tomato” (with sun-dried tomatoes).
Melon salad with Feta
Another extravagant recipe for feta - salad. For it we will take the following ingredients:
- 1 medium melon;
- 150 g of feta cheese;
- 2 tablespoons chopped sunflower seeds;
- 10-15 leaves of basil.
For the sauce:
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil;
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice;
- 2 tablespoons of sugar;
- A quarter teaspoon of black pepper.
Preparation:Wash the melon, cut it into two halves and use a spoon to take out the core with seeds. Then peel the melon and cut the pulp into cubes. Prepare the sauce, for which simply mix lemon juice with butter, sugar and pepper. Pour this sauce over the melon pieces placed in a salad bowl and sprinkle basil leaves on top. After the salad has been in the refrigerator for a couple of hours, sprinkle it with seeds fried in a dry frying pan.
Egyptian salad
Does this recipe really have any effect?relation to Egypt, is not known for certain. But it is known that this very simple recipe allows you to prepare an unusually fresh and aromatic salad. Ingredients:
- 200 g of feta cheese;
- 1 fresh cucumber;
- 1 head of red onion;
- Juice half fresh lemon;
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil;
- 2 tablespoons chopped dill, mint, parsley.
Preparation:Peel and seed the cucumber and chop it very finely. Chop the washed and dried herbs. Then put the feta in a bowl and crumble the cheese with a fork, then add lemon juice and oil and knead everything again.
