Spinach salad - a guest from nearbyEast, and to be precise – from Persia. The miraculous properties of spinach were appreciated by the ancients, so why shouldn’t we take advantage of this amazing gift of nature? Unfortunately, in the CIS countries, spinach salad is not as popular as in Europe or America, but every year it is gaining higher positions in our country. We advise you not to ignore such a healthy dish, rich in magnesium, iron and protein.
Salad with spinach and radish
Cooking time: 20 minutes. For 4 servings you will need:
- leaf spinach - 200 g
- radishes — 2— 3 bundles
- orange - 1 pc.
- orange juice - 50 g.
Sort the spinach, wash and dry with paper towels.napkin. Wash the radish and cut into circles. Peel the orange and divide into segments. Put the spinach, radish and orange pulp in a salad bowl. Pour over the orange juice and classic vinaigrette sauce.
Salad «Delicious»
To prepare the salad you will need:
- spinach - 400 g
- bacon - 200 g
- tomato (cherry is also possible) - 2 pcs.
- soy sauce - 20 g
- vegetable oil - 50 g
- lime or lemon juice - 10 g
- salt and black pepper powder to taste.
Spinach can be either fresh or frozen.Defrost frozen spinach and squeeze out the water. Wash fresh spinach, chop and place in a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil. Then thinly slice the bacon and place in the frying pan. Fry the spinach and bacon over low heat until the spinach turns emerald and has a persistent pleasant aroma of bacon. Wash tomatoes, cut them into medium-sized wedges or slices, place in a salad bowl and pour soy sauce over them. Place the heated spinach and bacon on top of the tomatoes. Then mix lemon or lime juice with soy sauce, add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Serve the salad warm.
Salad with spinach and cheese
A very filling, healthy and most importantly delicious salad. To prepare it you will need:
- spinach - 250 g
- mozzarella or suluguni cheese — 200 g
- eggs - 4 pcs.
- sour cream — 3 tbsp. l.
- lemon juice - 2-4 tsp.
- salt - to taste
- ground black pepper - to taste
Rinse the spinach well under running water.Then dry in a colander or on a towel. After the spinach has dried, separate the leaves from the stems. You can leave the small leaves alone, but be sure to tear the large ones into several pieces with your hands, because when in contact with metal, the spinach leaves will darken and spoil the appetizing appearance of the dish. Put the eggs to boil. After boiling, the eggs should boil for 7-10 minutes. Do not forget to put the boiled eggs in cold water. We recommend that you separate the yolks from the whites by cutting the eggs in half. You can crumble the yolks into the spinach with your hands, and cut the whites into cubes and add them to the spinach. If the spinach leaves are old and coarse, they can be blanched. This is done as follows: dip the leaves in boiling water, and then in cold water. The quality of the taste of the spinach will not change, but the leaves will become soft. To prepare the sauce, mix sour cream with lemon juice, add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Now cut the cheese into one-centimeter cubes. Mix the cheese with spinach, eggs and season with sauce. Mix and let the salad sit for 30-40 minutes.
Salad "Dream"
The salad not only lives up to its nametaste, but also contains a minimum amount of calories, which is very important. To prepare this representative of spinach salads we will need:
- fresh spinach - 70 g
- tomato - one large
- quail eggs - 4 pcs.
for the sauce:
- sour cream — 2 tbsp. l.
- lemon juice - 2 tsp.
- white ground pepper to taste
- salt to taste.
Select soft spinach leaves.If the spinach leaves are old or coarse, blanch them. After selecting the leaves, wash and dry the spinach. Tear off the stems and tear the leaves into medium-sized pieces with your hands and place half of the leaves intended for the salad on the bottom of a salad bowl or dish. Wash and dice the tomato, lightly salt and place on the spinach, sprinkle the tomatoes with spinach on top. Meanwhile, boil the eggs and peel the eggs, cut them in half or into quarters. Place the eggs in a circle around the salad in a salad bowl or on a dish. To prepare the sauce, mix sour cream with lemon juice, add salt and ground white pepper to taste. Pour the sauce over the spinach salad, do not stir. Serve!
Greek Salad with Spinach
Of course, we have all enjoyed it many timessuch a wonderful salad as "Greek". But few people know that there is one of its types with spinach. We suggest you surprise your family and friends with the "Greek with spinach" salad. To prepare the recipe you will need:
- lettuce leaves - ½ head
- spinach (chopped leaves) - 50 g
- tomatoes (sliced) - 3 pcs.
- cucumber - 2 pcs.
- onion (sweet) - 1 pc.
- sweet green pepper - 1 pc.
- hard cheese (preferably Feta or Brynza) - 200 g
- pitted olives - 12 pcs.
- fresh marjoram - 50 g
For the lemon sauce you will need:
- olive oil - 3 tbsp.
- lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
- salt and black pepper powder to taste.
Wash the lettuce, marjoram and spinach thoroughly.Cut the lettuce and marjoram into strips. Separate the spinach leaves from the stems and tear them into medium-sized pieces with your hands. If the spinach leaves are coarse, you can blanch them (first dip them in boiling water for a second, then in very cold water - this will soften the leaves, but the taste will not change). Wash the onion, peel it and cut it into thin rings or half rings as desired (although in the original they are cut into rings). Wash the pepper and remove the seeds and stalks, then cut it into thin half rings (this will make the pepper softer). Remove the cheese from the sour milk; if it is Feta cheese, let it drain, and then cut it into medium-sized cubes. The cubes should not be small, since in the original salad the feta is served in a large piece, and is broken by hand on the plate. If you are using hard cheese, then cut it into medium-sized cubes, no more than one centimeter wide. To prepare the lemon sauce, mix olive oil, lemon juice, some marjoram, salt and ground black pepper to taste, then let the sauce sit for 7-10 minutes. Mix the lettuce, tomatoes, spinach, cucumbers and pepper in a salad bowl. Then put sliced cheese, olives on top and sprinkle with marjoram (olives can be cut into thick rings). Dress the salad with lemon sauce and serve.
Lentil-spinach salad
This spinach salad is very filling and healthy, and most importantly delicious. To prepare the recipe you will need:
- lentils - 100 g
- vegetable marinade - 200 ml
- chili (dried) - 1 pc.
- thyme (dried) - 1/2 tsp.
- spinach (leaves) - 200 g
- apple (sour) - 1 pc.
- apple cider vinegar - 2 tbsp.
Sauce:
- sour cream — 2 tbsp. l.
- sunflower oil - 3 tbsp.
- tomato — 2 pcs.
- apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp.
- lemon juice or citric acid - 10 g
- salt and ground white pepper - to taste.
First, prepare the vegetable marinade.Vegetable marinades can be sweet and sour, sour and spicy – we will use a sweet and sour marinade. The main ingredients of the vegetable marinade are vinegar, sugar, salt and spices. Citric acid gives the marinade a sweet and sour taste. The basis for the marinade is sweet chili peppers, onions and tomatoes. To do this, wash the peppers, remove the seeds and stalk, then cut into small cubes. Wash the tomato and cut into small slices, and the onion into half rings. Salt all the ingredients and put them in a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil. Simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes, then pour in a mixture of one tablespoon of vinegar, a teaspoon of sugar, 10 grams of salt and five grams of citric acid. Stir and simmer over low heat, stirring constantly. Prepare the vegetable marinade. Wash the lentils and mix them with the vegetable marinade. It is advisable to wash the lentils several times under cold running water beforehand, then soak them in cold water for 15-20 minutes so that they soften and cook faster. Add the washed and seeded chili pepper and thyme, then cook over medium heat for 40-45 minutes with the lid closed. Wash the spinach thoroughly, then separate the leaves from the stems and dry them. Wash the apple, remove the seeds and core, cut into 4 parts, and cut into strips. After the lentils are ready, mix them with the spinach and apples, then arrange on plates. Wash the tomatoes and remove the base, then cut into small cubes. Remove the chili pepper from the lentils and combine it with the tomato. Place the tomato and chilli mixture on top of the lentils mixed with apples and spinach. Lightly salt and add ground white pepper to taste. To prepare the salad dressing, mix apple cider vinegar, sour cream, salt and ground white pepper, add vegetable oil and let sit for 5-7 minutes. Then season the salad and serve. Enjoy!
