Throughout the history of confectionery art there have beenan incredible number of recipes for dough for pies, cakes, pastries, cookies and muffins have been invented (or discovered by accident). They are prepared with butter, eggs, yeast, kefir, semolina. And there is also a recipe for dough from which the famous sour cream pie is prepared. Smetannik is a tender, slightly moist and light pastry, which, depending on the circumstances, can be a cake or a pie. There is a recipe for sour cream pie with soda, there is a recipe for its preparation without eggs. But there is one main advantage of such pastries. Traditional sour cream
The simplest sour cream pie recipe is, of course, the traditional sour cream pie. We'll start with it. Ingredients:
- A glass of sour cream
- One and a half glasses of flour
- 6 tablespoons of sugar
- 3 chicken eggs
- Half a teaspoon of soda
- Vanillin
For the cream:
- 250 grams of sugar
- One and a half glasses of sour cream
Preparation:Break the eggs into a bowl and add sugar. Then beat this mixture into a homogeneous mass, add sour cream, vanilla, sifted flour, baking soda and knead the dough. Turn on the oven and heat it up to 180-200 degrees. Grease the baking pan with butter and sprinkle with flour, then pour the dough into it. Put the pan in the oven and bake the pie until a dry toothpick comes out clean. Remove the finished pie from the pan and let it cool, then cut into two cakes. To make the cream, mix the cooled sour cream with sugar and beat. Coat the cakes with sour cream and serve.
Poppy cake with nuts
Another sweet pastry option. This time we'll try baking a poppy seed pie. Ingredients:
- 250 grams of flour
- 250 grams of sour cream
- 6 tablespoons of sugar
- 3 tablespoons poppy
- A handful of chopped walnuts
- 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
- A quarter teaspoon of soda
- 4 yolks
- Breadcrumbs
Preparation:Combine the egg yolks with sugar, grind until white and add sour cream. Now pour sifted flour mixed with soda into this mixture, add washed poppy seeds and mix everything well. Turn on the oven and leave it to heat up to 200-230 degrees. In the meantime, grease and sprinkle with breadcrumbs a baking pan and pour the dough into it. Sprinkle the dough with chopped walnuts on top. Put the pan in the oven and bake the cake until a dry toothpick comes out. Cool the finished pie and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Chocolate cake with blueberries
Try making a chocolate version of baking with sour cream. A pie with berries, for example, with blueberries, will be very tasty. Ingredients:
- 200 grams of sour cream
- 6 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 cups flour
- 3 eggs
- A pack of butter
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- Half of the bitter chocolate bar
- 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar
- A handful of chopped walnuts
- 2 handfuls of blueberries
Preparation:Break the eggs into a bowl and mix the granulated sugar with vanilla sugar. Now pour this mixture into the bowl with the eggs and beat with a whisk or mixer until white. Then add sour cream to the sugar-egg mixture and mix everything. Mix the sifted flour with baking powder and melt half a pack of butter. Add the cooled butter to the dough, mix and gradually add flour. Break the chocolate into small pieces and put it into the dough together with the berries. Mix everything again. Turn on the oven and heat it up to 180 degrees and prepare the pan by greasing it with melted butter. Pour the dough into the pan and put our pie in the oven, where we leave it for about an hour. Remove the finished pie from the pan and pour melted butter over it (the second half of the pack). Sprinkle the top of the pie with chopped nuts mixed with powdered sugar.
Lemon pie on sour cream
This simple pie is easy to make and the result will definitely meet your expectations. Ingredients:
- 250 grams of sour cream
- Half a pound of flour
- One and a half cups of sugar
- 4 yolks
- 1 lemon
- A quarter teaspoon baking soda
Preparation:Turn on the oven and leave it to heat up to 180-200 degrees. Place the egg yolks in a bowl, add granulated sugar and grind the mixture until white. Then add a glass of sour cream and gradually add sifted flour, kneading the dough. At the very end, add baking soda and mix the dough thoroughly again. Grind the lemon in a meat grinder or on a grater, having previously removed the seeds, and also put it in the dough. Mix the dough again and pour into a greased and floured pan. Bake until a dry toothpick (wooden skewer) comes out. Remove the finished pie from the pan, grease with the remaining sour cream and cool.
Cake with potatoes and ham
To conclude our recipe parade, we offer you a version of unsweetened baked goods. Try to cook. Ingredients:
- Sour cream - 250 grams
- Egg - 1 piece
- Butter - half a pack
- Flour - 2 cups
- Salt - half a teaspoon
- Baking soda - half a teaspoon
For the filling:
- Mashed potatoes
- Pickle
- Ham
Preparation:First, melt the butter and combine it with sour cream. Now add the egg, soda and salt to this mixture, and then, gradually adding sifted flour, knead the dough. Wrap it in cling film and leave it to rise for about fifteen minutes. During this time, we will have time to prepare the filling. To do this, mix the puree with a finely grated salted cucumber and chopped ham. Add salt and black pepper. Divide the dough into two parts and roll them into circles about five millimeters thick. Transfer one circle to a mold, put the filling on it and cover with the second layer of dough. Pinch the edges, grease the surface with egg yolk and bake the pie in an oven preheated to 200 degrees until browned.
