Chopped lazy cabbage rolls
The recipe is really simple - cabbage rolls are prepared like cutlets. Ingredients:
- 0.5 kg of minced meat;
- 300 grams of white cabbage;
- 1 onion;
- 1 raw carrots;
- 1 chicken egg;
- 100 grams of dry rice;
- Spices and salt to taste.
Sauce:
- 6 fresh tomatoes;
- A glass of sour cream.
Preparation:You can use any minced meat for lazy cabbage rolls. However, the best option would be minced meat made from equal parts of pork and beef or a mixture of beef (pork) and chicken. Wash the cabbage beforehand, cut it into cubes and blanch it (keep it in boiling water) for about three minutes. Grind the carrots with a coarse grater and finely chop the onion. Boil the washed rice until it is not fully cooked, rinse it again and cool it. Put the minced meat in a bowl and add the prepared vegetables and rice to it. Now add a raw egg, salt and any spices of your choice (you can do without spices) and mix the resulting mass thoroughly. Form balls-cutlets from the minced meat and put them in a saucepan. Prepare a sauce from sour cream and fresh tomatoes chopped in a blender. Pour this sauce over our lazy cabbage rolls and put the pan on the stove, where we cook the dish under the lid for an hour and a half. Such lazy cabbage rolls with sour cream and tomato sauce turn out juicy and soft! Note: Rice for lazy cabbage rolls must be slightly boiled. If you put raw rice in the mince, the cabbage rolls will turn out dry, since the cereal will absorb all the juice.
Lazy cabbage rolls with fish
If you like fish dishes, this recipe will definitely be interesting for you! Ingredients:
- 0.5 kg of minced fish (pink salmon, catfish, pike);
- Head of cabbage;
- 1 onion
- Butter;
- Salt and spices - to taste.
Preparation:Mix the minced fish with the onion, chopped in a blender or very, very finely chopped. Now add salt, pepper and any spices to your taste. Wash the cabbage head and separate it into individual leaves, cutting off the thickening at the base of the leaf. If the leaves tear, don’t worry – you won’t have to wrap anything in them anyway. When the minced meat and cabbage are ready, take a saucepan and grease it from the inside with butter, and now start laying the minced meat and cabbage leaves in layers. Season the cabbage leaves a little with salt too. If the minced meat is too lean, you can put a little butter on top of each fish layer. That’s it! All that’s left to do is cover the saucepan with a lid and put it on the fire. In thirty to forty minutes, the cabbage rolls will be ready! Serve this dish cut like a pie.

Meanwhile, chop half a cabbage head and divide it into three parts, and rinse the rice thoroughly. When the mince with vegetables is ready, take a saucepan and put one part of the shredded cabbage in it. Put a layer of half of the mince fried with vegetables on top, and put a layer of rice on top (also half) and salt it a little. Then another layer of cabbage, mince and rice (salted). The last layer is the remaining cabbage, pour oil from the frying pan over everything and add water to the level of the top layer.
