Cheese pie made of puff pastry
Ingredients:
- 500 grams puff yeast dough
- 5 bulbs
- 5 processed syrkov
- 5 eggs
- salt, pepper, nutmeg to taste

Method of preparation:Defrost the dough, divide into two parts and roll out to the desired size. Finely chop the onion and fry in olive oil until translucent, cool. Mix the fried onion, grated cheese and eggs, season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and herbs. Put half of the rolled out dough on a baking sheet, then the filling. Cover with the remaining dough and pinch the edges. Pierce the top in several places. Grease with melted butter or beaten egg. Bake at 180 degrees until done (about 40 minutes). The snack cheese pie is ready. Note: This is a basic recipe. The filling can be modified at your discretion. Zucchini and sweet peppers (red, yellow, and green cubes look beautiful) are perfect here. Smoked brisket goes well with this filling. Cut a small piece into cubes and fry with onions. If you use these additives, reduce the amount of the main ingredients slightly.
Puff cake with cabbage
Ingredients:
- 500 grams puff yeast dough
- 400 grams of cabbage
- 100 grams of bacon
- 3 boiled eggs
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- olive (or cream) oil
- salt, pepper to taste

Method of preparation:Finely chop the cabbage and pour boiling water over it. Put it in a sieve. Fry the bacon, onion and carrot in hot oil, add the cabbage, salt, pepper (any spices you like) and bring to readiness. Sprinkle with lemon juice and season with herbs. Add chopped boiled eggs to the filling. Divide the pre-defrosted dough into two parts, roll each one out. Place a layer of dough on a baking sheet, spread the filling on top, cover with a second layer. Prick in several places, brush with beaten egg. Bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. The snack pie is ready.
Puff pastry with chicken liver
Ingredients:
- 500 grams puff yeast dough
- 300 grams of chicken liver
- 1 onion
- 1 small carrot
- 1 small apple
- salt, pepper, nutmeg
- 30 milliliters of cognac
- 50 grams of butter
Method of preparation:Fry the processed chicken liver in a well-heated frying pan for 3 minutes and place on a plate. In the same frying pan, fry the chopped onion and carrot, then add the apple slices, place the liver in the frying pan and simmer everything together until done. At the end, add salt, spices and cognac. Cool and beat in a blender. Divide the defrosted dough into small balls, roll out and put the filling in the middle of each flatbread. Form a small oblong pie. Place on a baking sheet (not too tightly), grease with beaten egg. Bake at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. You will get tiny pies that melt in your mouth, so to speak, for one bite. Note: If you don't have much free time, you can bake a large pie with this filling (snack pie), but small pies are more suitable for a buffet table.
