Classic crab salad

It just so happened that the classic crabsalad is considered to be a salad made from sticks, cabbage and canned corn. True, some people put in this salad not corn, but boiled crumbly rice. About fifteen years ago, such a salad was prepared exclusively for holidays. And today it has become a familiar everyday dish. Although it can be prepared for a festive table (according to tradition). Ingredients:

  • 1 package of crab sticks;
  • 1 can of sweet corn;
  • 1 fork of Chinese cabbage;
  • 3 eggs;
  • Mayonnaise and salt.

Preparation:It won't be difficult for anyone to prepare such a salad! First, boil and cool the eggs. Then shred the cabbage, which we first wash and remove the thick white stems, and defrost a package of crab sticks. Cut the sticks the way we like (this is not important), and drain the sweet marinade from the corn. Put the diced eggs, crab sticks, corn and cabbage in a bowl, add salt, mayonnaise and mix.   • 1 head of Chinese cabbage;
  • 1 small package (6 pieces) of crab sticks;
  • 3 ripe juicy tomatoes;
  • 100 g of ordinary hard cheese;
  • Mayonnaise for refueling.

Preparation:Wash the cabbage, cut off the thick stems from the head, and chop the leaves (cut into strips). Defrost the sticks and also cut into bars or strips. Cut the washed tomatoes into small cubes, and shred the cheese. Then mix all the ingredients, add salt if desired, and season our creation with mayonnaise. The salad with Chinese cabbage and crab sticks is ready! Cool it before the meal and serve with fresh herbs.

Crab salad with cabbage and apple

Quite a dietary salad, especially if you dress it with light mayonnaise or low-fat sour cream. Ingredients:

  • 1 fork of Chinese cabbage;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 1 small package of crab sticks;
  • 1 apple;
  • 1 onion;
  • Salt and mayonnaise (sour cream).

Preparation:Wash the cabbage, dry it and chop it into small strips. Cut the defrosted sticks and hard-boiled eggs into cubes. Peel the apple and remove the hard core with seeds, then chop it into strips. Put the chopped onion in a bowl, salt it and knead it with your hands so that it gives off juice. "Sea shell" salad

This salad is not "simple". It is very intricate. Of course, it is a hassle to make it every day, but it is perfect for a big celebration. Surprise your guests! Ingredients:

  • 1 head of Chinese cabbage;
  • 1 package of crab sticks;
  • 1 fresh ripe tomato;
  • 100 g of cheese (solid);
  • 3 garlic cloves;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 100 grams of shrimp.

For the dough "shells":

  • 1 cup of cold water;
  • 1 cup of flour;
  • 1 egg;
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar;
  • Vegetable oil for deep-frying (2 cups).

Preparation:This salad with crab sticks is unusual in its original way of serving and decoration. We will put it in "pearls" that we will make from dough, and the pearls themselves will be placed in "sea shells" made from cabbage leaves. So, first, prepare the dough. Break one raw egg into a bowl, add a pinch of salt, a teaspoon of sugar and lightly beat it with a glass of cold water. Then add flour and knead the liquid dough (like for pancakes). Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan. The dish should be deep enough to pour oil into it to a height of about eight centimeters. By the way, while we are working on the dough, you can put the eggs and carrots to boil. When the oil is hot, take a regular metal ladle, dip its convex side into the dough so that it does not flood the edges of the ladle. Then lower the ladle into the boiling oil and wait for the dough to fry. We take a ladle and remove half of the “pearl” from it – a golden hemisphere of crispy dough. Having made the required number of such “cups”, we leave them to cool, placing them in a colander or on a grate to drain off excess oil. Now we proceed directly to the salad. Oh yeah! First, we remove about ten (or more) whole leaves from a head of Chinese cabbage, which will become the valves for our shells. Now we chop the remaining cabbage very finely and grind it with salt. Hard-boiled eggs, half of a cooled boiled carrot, defrosted crab sticks and tomato cut into small pieces, grate the cheese into shavings, and crush the garlic on a grater or in a garlic press. Then mix all the ingredients and season the salad with mayonnaise. Now we put the washed and dried cabbage leaves on plates: we put one leaf flat, and we wrap the second one in the shape of a shell and put it vertically. To prevent the “shell” from falling, we put a “pearl” filled with salad on it (we put the salad in one ladle, cover it with the other half). Almost ready. All that remains is to “prettier” wrap the leaves-shells and decorate the dish. For decoration, we cut out starfish from the remaining half of the carrot and lay them out together with the shrimps (in the shell) on the plate. And you can also splurge, buy red caviar and picturesquely scatter the eggs on the plates. And for a complete illusion of the seabed, “plant” seaweed from seaweed, and in addition to the shrimps, put marinated octopuses on the plates. The miracle salad is ready! Believe me, it will be a real highlight of the program and will leave an unforgettable impression on your guests. And how?
