However, it was then that there were dishes that became truly iconic, very popular in any home. One of them is fish salad "Mimosa". Among all the truly Soviet recipes, Mimosa is distinguished by the fact that even in times of total deficit it was possible to buy the basic ingredients for its preparation quite simply (with the possible exception of mayonnaise) - the onion, the egg and the base of the dish - canned fish. Classics of the genre - laying all the components in layers, soaking them with mayonnaise, decorating the top layer with egg yolk. Actually, that's why this recipe got its name.
As mentioned above, the recipe for the classic Mimosa salad is quite simple. You will need:
- Bank of canned fish in oil (to your taste);
- Potatoes boiled in a uniform (three medium tubers);
- Cooked carrots (three pieces of medium size);
- Three eggs hard boiled;
- A can of mayonnaise (250 grams);
- A bunch of green onions;
