Vegetarian pizza on thin dough

The recipe for this pizza dough is taken from Indian cuisine. In India, incredibly delicious crispy pies are baked from this dough. But you can also make pizza from it. Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of wheat flour;
  • 1 tablespoon butter;
  • 1 pinch of salt;
  • Water until the desired consistency of the dough.

For the filling:

  • 4 large champignons;
  • 2 ripe tomatoes;
  • 100 g of cheese;
  • Vegetable oil;
  • Spices for your taste.

Preparation:To prepare the dough, pour sifted flour into a bowl, add salt and butter (not liquid, but not too frozen). After that, chop the whole mixture with a knife, turning it into butter-flour crumbs. Then start kneading the dough, adding water to it in small portions. The dough should be dense, but elastic and soft. Now let's start making the filling. Turn the cheese into shavings, and cut the mushrooms into slices or cubes and fry them in vegetable oil. If desired, you can fry the mushrooms with onions. When the mushrooms are almost ready, add diced tomatoes, spices (for example, pepper, oregano, paprika, basil) and salt and simmer everything until thickened. The filling should be thick enough so that it does not spread over the dough. After that, turn on the oven (let it warm up) and roll out the pizza dough. By the way, you can roll out the base on a floured table or stretch it out with your hands directly on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Put the prepared filling on the pizza crust, sprinkle with cheese shavings and spices (optional). Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake the pizza for no longer than twenty minutes. Readiness is determined by the browning of the edges of the crust and the degree of melting of the cheese.pizza without yeast
