But pizza with seafood is still unpopular with us. No, we really respect ready-made pizza with seafood, but for some reason we don’t risk making such a dish ourselves. However, the recipe for such pizza is not much different from those that have already firmly established themselves in our cookbooks. So how do you cook pizza with seafood at home? Let’s take the recipe and finally try to do it.

Pizza ai frutti di mare (classical)

This is the name given to classic Italian pizzaseafood. Its recipe includes not only exotic mussels and less exotic squid, but also a special salsa sauce. We use the following ingredients for this pizza:

  • Squids - 300 g
  • Shrimps (chipped) - 300 g
  • Mussels - 240 g
  • Garlic - 2 slices
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green parsley, pepper and salt - at your discretion

Dough:

  • Flour
  • Yeast
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Water

Sauce:

  • Fresh tomatoes
  • Chilli
  • Garlic
  • Onion-turnip
  • Butter
  • Lemon juice
  • Cognac
  • Salt and sugar

Preparation: The dough recipe can be any:with or without yeast, with kefir or sour cream. We will choose a recipe for yeast dough. Dilute 1 packet of dry yeast in warm sweetened water and leave for about ten minutes. When the yeast foams and rises, add it to the pre-sifted flour (one to one and a half glasses), put a couple of pinches of salt there and knead the dough. The dough should be soft and elastic. Therefore, add water already during the kneading process, focusing on the appearance and consistency of the dough. Leave the kneaded dough to rise for half an hour. While the dough rises, prepare the sauce and filling. To prepare the sauce, you need to take fresh tomatoes and free them from the skin and seeds. Remove the seeds from the pepper. Then chop the tomatoes and pepper very finely, chop the onion and simmer everything in butter for about five minutes. Then add lemon juice (one or two tablespoons), cognac (a quarter cup), some sugar and a couple of crushed garlic cloves to the sauce. Continue to simmer for another five minutes, then cool the sauce. For the filling, wash and boil the mussels, then remove the contents from the shell. Clean the squid from the film and entrails and boil them by dipping them in boiling water for literally three minutes. Cut the cooled carcasses into rings. Now take the dough, form a pizza pancake out of it and spread the sauce on it. Then spread the shrimp and sliced ​​squid on the pancake, sprinkle with crushed garlic, salt and pour olive oil over it. Put the pizza in the oven for ten minutes, then take it out, spread the mussels on it (putting them in the halves of the mussels) and put the pizza back in the oven. Pizza "Four seasons" with seafood

Any Four Seasons pizza recipe includes four ingredients for the filling. Seafood can also be included in this famous pizza. We will prepare Four Seasons with shrimp. Ingredients:

  • Shrimp (peeled)
  • Fresh mushrooms
  • Fresh Tomatoes
  • Boiled Pork
  • Hard cheese
  • Sweet pepper
  • Black olives
  • Pizza sauce

Dough:

  • Flour
  • Water (milk)
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Yeast

Preparation:You can choose any recipe for the dough or even buy a ready-made base. But yeast dough for pizza has remained and remains the most popular (classic!). Therefore, knead the dough (see the previous recipe) from flour, water and yeast and leave it to rise. In the meantime, prepare the ingredients for the filling. Wash the mushrooms, cut into thin slices and fry in vegetable oil. Cut the tomatoes into circles, the pepper into rings, and the pork into cubes. Chop the cheese into shavings or crumbs. Place the risen dough on a greased baking sheet and form a pizza pancake out of it, spreading the sauce on it. Then divide (visually) the pizza into four equal parts and fill each part with the filling. Put the fried mushrooms on one part, and place the shrimp on the second. Then sprinkle the entire pizza with cheese and fill the remaining parts, placing tomatoes on one of them, and meat on the other. Once again, generously sprinkle everything with cheese shavings and put the pizza in the oven. Bake for twenty to thirty minutes. Choose a recipe and cook the pizza. Pizza with seafood is not as difficult as it may seem. Shrimp, squid, mussels, octopus are even sold as ready-made mixtures.
