Ingredients for cooking
To prepare the dough you will need:
- chilled butter - 150 g;
- flour - 250-300 g;
- sour cream (preferably 25%) - 100 g;
- baking powder - 1 teaspoon.
To prepare the filling you will need:
- apples (preferably sour varieties) - 4 pcs. (approximately 500-600 g);
- sour cream — 200 g;
- granulated sugar - 200 g;
- chicken egg - 1 pc.;
- flour — 2 tbsp. spoons;
- vanilla sugar - 1 teaspoon.
Cooking method
Preparing the dough:
In a large bowl with a knife finely chop the chilled butter.
In a bowl of oil to sift the flour.
Grind flour and oil until finecrumbs. For this, it is better to use a knife, fork or other suitable cutlery. If you rub it with your hands, the oil softens, resulting in more flour, which can affect the taste and quality of the pie.
Add the sour cream and baking powder and knead the dough.
The resulting dough should be wrapped in a food film and left in a refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.
Preparing the filling:
Wash the apples, remove the core with the seeds, then cut into thin slices. To preserve the color, sliced apple slices can be sprinkled with lemon juice.
Put sour cream in a bowl. Add sugar and vanilla sugar and mix thoroughly until the sugar dissolves completely.
In a separate bowl, use a fork or a halo to lightly beat up the chicken egg.
Add the beaten egg to sour cream and sugar, mix.
Gradually add flour, while constantly stirring the mixture to avoid the formation of lumps.
