First of all, it is advisable to ask the seller about the origin of the fish. People who often eat salmon know that the fish that grew in natural conditions is more useful. Salmon grown in artificial reservoirs has almost half as many nutrients. When preparing any salmon recipe, you should remember that long heat treatment can upset the balance of active components. Therefore, you should not cook it for more than 10-15 minutes. In this case, you will get a royal dish that has retained many useful elements.
Grilled salmon steak fried in a frying pan
Ingredients:
- Salmon steak - 5 pcs.
- Mustard - 10 g
- Olive oil - 3 tbsp.
- Honey - 1 tsp.

Method of preparation:Pan frying is the fastest way to cook salmon steak. The main thing in this recipe is to choose the right spices. Cut the steaks in half, rinse thoroughly under cold water, dry. Then sprinkle with salt and spices. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan and place half of the steak skin side down. Fry over high heat for about 4 minutes. Method of preparation:Rinse the fish with cold water, dry, sprinkle with salt and pepper. For the marinade, mix the juice of half a lemon with mayonnaise. Add a little seasoning for fish. Mix thoroughly. Coat the prepared steaks with the marinade and leave for 15 minutes so that they marinate well. Lightly grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil. Cut the remaining lemon into slices and place on the baking sheet. Place the marinated steaks on the lemon. Sprinkle with grated hard cheese on top. Preheat the oven to 180°. - Miso paste — 60 g
- Mirin wine - 50 ml
- Soy sauce - 3 tbsp.
- Rice vinegar - 10 ml
- Ginger (grated) - 5 g
- Sesame oil — 2 tbsp.
- Green onions - 3-4 feathers
- Salmon steak (halves) - 4 pcs.
- Pepper, salt
Method of preparation:Mix miso paste, wine, soy sauce, rice vinegar, finely chopped green onions, sesame oil and ginger until smooth in a small bowl. Rinse the fish pieces with cold water and pat dry with a paper towel. Then place them on a baking sheet and pour the prepared marinade over them. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes. Heat the barbecue or grill well. Remove the fish from the marinade and sprinkle with pepper and salt. Then place it on the grill skin side down. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side. Before serving, pour lemon juice over it and garnish with herbs. Serve with a light vegetable salad, boiled rice or mashed potatoes. If you don’t have rice vinegar, you can replace it with white wine or apple cider vinegar. However, keep in mind that rice vinegar is milder. Therefore, if you choose another vinegar, reduce the amount of vinegar.
