You can use it separately or cook compotes for your family. These natural vitamins will become your main helpers in the fight against winter infections.
"Winter" jelly from sweet apples
In January, when it gets dark so early, and outside the windowthere is a severe frost, you don’t want to go outside at all. After all, it is much nicer to watch the falling snowflakes from the window of your warm and cozy apartment than to shiver from the cold and wrap yourself in a fur coat, drowning in snowdrifts. The most ideal evenings at this time are in the company of your beloved, an interesting book or a kind, heartfelt film. Surely, you won’t do without a cup of hot tea. And to lift your spirits a little, we suggest complementing the meal with sweet apple jelly. It is similar to jam and is stored for a long time, so you can taste the dish even next winter. Ingredients:
- 2.5 cups of water
- one kilogram of juicy fresh apples (take a sweet variety)
- 400 grams of sugar
Method of preparation:First, wash the apples and cut them into four equal parts with a knife. You can remove the core and seeds, but if you don’t want to waste time on this, don’t bother – believe me, the jelly won’t get any worse. Now put the fruit in a saucepan, pour in the amount of water specified in the recipe, cover with a lid and put on very low heat. Then cook, stirring regularly, for about 25 minutes. When bubbles appear on the surface and the product begins to turn into mush, remove the pan from the stove and throw the apples into a colander. Cover the latter with a piece of clean gauze and drain all the liquid. Set the fruit mass aside for two hours to drain. After the specified time, pour the resulting juice back into the saucepan, pour in granulated sugar and cook over medium heat. When the liquid starts to boil, reduce the burner power to a minimum and boil the jelly, remembering to stir it constantly and remove the foam. After about 60 minutes, scoop the mass into a spoon: if it falls in large lumps, then the dish is ready. Put it into jars prepared in advance (preferably sterilized) and close with lids. Do not turn it over! Now you have a great reason to gather the whole family at the table, brew aromatic tea and taste apple jelly!
Jelly "Kislinka" from fresh apples
We offer another recipe for winter - applejelly. It is almost the same as the previous one - the preparation procedure is the same, but instead of sweet fruits, sour ones are used. And one more difference - vanilla sugar is added, which gives the dish a special aroma. Ingredients:
- sour apples - one kilogram
- cold water
- three glasses of granulated sugar
- two pinch of vanilla sugar
Method of preparation:Dry the washed apples well: to do this, place them on a clean towel or, in order to save time, simply wipe them thoroughly. Then cut into several slices, or small cubes. Do not remove the core and seeds, as they will boil during cooking. Now place the fruit mass in a saucepan, pour in water, which should cover the apples exactly halfway, and cook under a lid on low heat for about half an hour. Then discard, cover the sieve with gauze and strain the future jelly. Leave it for fifteen minutes to drain the excess liquid. Then put the fruit back into the enamel saucepan, pour in the sugar and cook for 20 minutes. When foam appears, remove it, and at the very end add vanillin and mix well. You do not know how to check the readiness of jelly? Very simple: if it falls from the spoon in large drops, then the dish has reached the desired condition. Remove it from the stove and put it into jars that have been previously washed and sterilized. Do not turn the dishes upside down - you don't need to do that! We hope your jelly turned out great! Serve it with hot herbal tea, pancakes or fritters. Enjoy!

Apple jelly with cream
Looking for an interesting dessert recipe forfestive table? This dish is just what the doctor ordered! Delicate fruit jelly combined with whipped cream is the perfect dish for any celebration. Having prepared it, you will not go wrong - all guests will be absolutely delighted! Ingredients:
- one cup of sugar
- two glasses of water
- 250 grams of any apples
- one glass of fresh cream of medium fat content
- 15 grams of gelatin
Decoration:
- fresh mint
Method of preparation:Remove the core from the washed apples, remove the seeds and cut into thin slices. Then put them in a saucepan with a thick bottom, fill with water and cook until the fruit becomes soft and releases juice. Meanwhile, take care of the gelatin - just soak it in lukewarm water and let it sit for fifteen to twenty minutes. When the apples become soft, strain them using a thick piece of gauze folded several times. Pour the juice into a separate container, and grind the fruit mass using a sieve. Now combine the resulting liquid with sugar and gelatin, put on low heat and, stirring regularly with a spoon, cook until bubbles form. When the syrup boils, pour it into molds and put it in the refrigerator. Transfer the applesauce to a deep bowl and beat with a mixer or a special whisk. Then distribute into bowls with already solidified syrup and put to cool again (for fifteen minutes). In the meantime, prepare the cream in exactly the same way - it should turn into an airy and fluffy mass. Put a few spoons of the resulting mixture in each bowl and decorate the dish with fresh mint leaves. To prepare the dessert, you can use homemade sour cream instead of cream. Store-bought product will not work, as it is not fat enough. Also keep in mind that instant gelatin is prepared faster - it does not need to be soaked, which will help save time spent in the kitchen. And one more piece of advice, namely: if you have fruit syrup, pour it over the dish. This way the dish looks much more appetizing and tastes better.
Jelly "Child" of apples with prunes
There are a huge number of the mostvarious jelly recipes, from the simplest to complex combinations of various ingredients. Some housewives are used to using ready-made dry mixes, which are enough to add water, stir several times and pour into molds. Of course, this is a very quick dish, but incredibly harmful. Just imagine what it is made of - it's solid chemistry! Dyes, emulsifiers, food additives - these components are difficult for an adult body to perceive, not to mention children. Therefore, if you want to pamper your baby with a light dessert, do not resort to such food under any circumstances. Make jelly with your own hands. To do this, you will need fresh apples, prunes, gelatin and other ingredients, which are described below. Your child will surely like this sweet dish and it will certainly not harm his health. So go for it! Ingredients:
- 150 grams of red apples
- 30 milliliters of sugar syrup
- 70 grams of prunes
- four grams of gelatin
- 100 milliliters of water
- the same amount of pasteurized milk
- 25 milliliters of any fruit syrup
Method of preparation:For this dessert, choose a sweet fruit variety - otherwise the jelly will be sour, which not every baby will like. So, wash the apples, cut them into several large pieces with a knife (we got four), remove the seeds, then pour cold water over them and put them on the stove. Cook over low heat until they become soft enough. If the fruit loses its shape, do not worry - when they are ready, you will still have to mash them into puree. Do this, but do not drain the broth anywhere. Then soak the gelatin in a small amount of water, and when it swells (this will take about half an hour), throw it in a colander. As for the prunes, pour them with warm liquid too and, when they soften, cut them into small cubes. Now add the finished gelatin to the apple mass, add sugar syrup here and boil, stirring constantly. Pour the jelly into special molds or regular cups, with prunes on the bottom, and put it in the refrigerator to harden. Never put the dish in the freezer, otherwise you will simply ruin it. The dessert is served with boiled, but not very hot milk or any fruit juice, depending on what your child likes. It is up to you to decide whether to make apple jam-jelly or a delicate dessert for a festive table. The main thing is that you have already familiarized yourself with the recipes for these dishes. Now all that remains is to apply this knowledge in practice. We hope you will succeed! We recommend reading:
