Chemical facial peeling is currently the most popular way to make your skin radiant, clean and young. It's all about effective, but, nevertheless, gentle effects on the skin. What is chemical peeling, how is it carried out and how does it work for our beauty? In the language of professionals, chemical facial peeling or chemical peeling is a cosmetic procedure that involves exfoliating different layers of the skin with certain acids. Under the influence of acids, the epidermis begins to break down, new cells very quickly appear in place of the damaged skin, which are distributed over the surface of the skin in a more even layer. Different acids affect different layers of the skin. Based on this, there are three types of chemical facial cleansing. Let's look at each in more detail.

Surface cleaning

Superficial peeling is the most gentle of alltypes of chemical face peeling. It affects only the upper stratum corneum of the skin, that is, only its dead cells are removed. This type of peeling is indicated for problem skin, for skin with post-acne, to combat wrinkles. Also, this type of chemical peeling stimulates the synthesis of elastin and collagen. Since this is the mildest type of chemical peeling, it can be prescribed by a dermatocosmetologist from the age of 14 to old age. Dry cleaning of the median effect

During the cleaning process, acids affect the entire layer of the epidermis. The following acid solutions are used for medium facial cleaning:

• salicylic 30%
• trichloroacetic from 15% to 35%
• retinoevaya 5%

For deep cleaning, phenol is used, but not in its pure form, but in combination with other components, such as oil, distilled water, glycerin and others. Phenol peeling is used for deep wrinkles, age-related hyperpigmentation, burns and scars, including post-acne. It works best on small areas of the skin. Phenol peeling is a very painful type of chemical peeling, which leads to irreversible consequences in the structure of the skin. The skin simply stops producing melanin, that is, tanning. Therefore, after phenol facial cleansing, you will have to literally protect yourself from the sun for the rest of your life with creams with a high SPF. And that is why deep cleaning is performed only in a hospital by an experienced doctor, and only under anesthesia. In terms of complexity, it is even equivalent to surgery. The procedure also has a lot of contraindications. For a doctor to agree to phenol peeling, your heart, liver, and kidneys must be healthy. Phenol is a real poison for these organs! In addition, hyperpigmentation of the skin may occur. The rehabilitation period lasts from two to six months. Immediately after the peeling, the doctor forbids washing your face or even brushing your teeth, since phenol can actively interact with water. And only after two months is it allowed to use face powder. During this time, all the crusts on the face heal (phenol peeling is essentially a third-degree burn), the redness disappears, and the skin literally becomes like a baby's.
