When the skin looks dull, the pores are dilated andare hammered, and usual cosmetics already does not consult, effective salon procedures will come to the aid and, first of all, it is face cleaning. Face dry cleaning for today, is the most popular way to make the skin radiant, clean and young. It's all about effective, but nonetheless, gentle treatment of the skin. By the way, celebrities also appreciated this type of cleansing. Angelina Jolie and Penelope Cruz can boast of their flawless skin thanks to this particular procedure. What is dry cleaning, how is it carried out and how does it work for our beauty? If expressed in the language of professionals, face cleaning or chemical peeling is a cosmetic procedure that consists in exfoliating different layers of the skin with certain acids. Under the influence of acid, the epidermis begins to break down, new cells appear quickly on the site of the damaged skin, which are distributed more evenly over the surface of the skin. Different acids affect different layers of the skin. Based on this, three types of dry cleaning of the face are distinguished. Let us dwell on each of them in more detail.
Surface cleaning
Superficial peeling - the most sparing of alltypes of dry cleaning face. It acts only on the upper stratum corneum of the skin, that is, only its dead cells are removed. This kind of cleansing is indicated for problem skin, for skin with post-acne, for wrinkles. Also, this kind of dry cleaning stimulates the synthesis of elastin and collagen. Since this is the most mild kind of dry cleaning, it can be prescribed by a doctor as a dermacosmetologist from the age of 14 to a very old age. For surface dry cleaning, soft acids are used: lactic, almond, glycolic, pyruvic. Depending on your skin type and existing problems, the cosmetologist will pick up that acid solution and in the concentration that will ideally suit your skin. For example, for dry skin, which is also prone to black spots, 30% lactic acid-based cleansing is suitable. This acid will remove dirt from the smallest pores and thus almost does not injure a skin. Fat and problem skin is better to peel with glycolic acid. It has a steaming effect. Under the influence of glycolic acid, the pores are opened, and grease and dirt are removed even from the deepest pores. In addition, glycol cleansing is suitable for sensitive skin, however, in this case, the cosmetologist uses the weakest acid solution. The recovery period after surface cleansing of the face is minimal - only 1-2 days. At this time, the cosmetologist will advise to use only sunscreen, since there is a risk of hyperpigmentation.
Dry cleaning of the median effect
During the cleaning process, acids are applied to the entire epidermis layer. The following acid solutions are used to perform the mid-face cleansing:
- salicylic 30%
- trichloroacetic from 15% to 35%
- retinoevaya 5%
- Jessner's solution, which includes salicylic acid 14%, resorcinol 14% and lactic acid 14%.
Medial face cleaning is indicated forhyperpigmentation, deep wrinkles, scars. It is best suited for rough oily or problematic skin. Salicylic cleansing will be especially beneficial for her condition, since salicylic acid has a drying and anti-inflammatory effect. However, if on your skin very strong inflammation, the beautician advises to completely abandon the medial peeling. Since the procedure of this peeling is painful enough, the recovery period will take about two weeks. The skin can be strongly peeled off, be red. At this time, it is better not to go out into the bright sun, use protective creams with high SPF, as well as delicate facial care products.
Deep face dry cleaning
The name itself suggests the penetration of acids intothe deepest layers of the skin. For deep cleaning, phenol is used, but not in pure form, but in the composition with other components, such as oil, distilled water, glycerin and others. Phenolic peeling is used for deep wrinkles, senile hyperpigmentation, burns and scars, including post-acne. It works best on small areas of the skin. Phenol peeling is a very painful form of dry cleaning, which leads to irreversible effects in the structure of the skin. The skin simply stops producing melanin, that is, sunbathing. Therefore, after phenol cleansing, the face will literally have to protect itself from the sun with creams with high SPF for life. And this is why deep cleaning is carried out only within the hospital by an experienced doctor, and only under anesthesia. In terms of complexity, it is even equated to surgical operations. The procedure has a lot of contraindications. That the doctor has agreed to carrying out phenolic cleansing, you should have a healthy heart, liver and kidneys. For these organs, phenol is a real poison! In addition, hyperpigmentation of the skin may appear. The rehabilitation period lasts from two to six months. Immediately after cleansing, the doctor forbids washing and even brushing his teeth, as phenol can enter into an active relationship with water. And only after two months it is allowed to use powder for the face. During this time all the crusts on the face heal (phenol peeling, in fact - a third degree burn), redness disappears, and the skin becomes literally like a baby. Before deciding on this very painful procedure, weigh all the pros and cons: you will have to for a while give up active life, going to work and make-up. But the effect of phenol cleansing of the face lasts for 10 years!
Contraindications
All types of dry cleaning have commoncontraindications. These are, first of all, pregnancy, lactation period, cancer, presence of moles on the face, open wounds, inflammation and acute herpes.
Chemical peeling at home
Chemical cleaning of the face can be carried out at home. To date, many cosmetic companies produce special kits for surface chemical peeling. In this case, it is very important to know what is the percentage of acids in a given preparation, since higher than necessary acid content in the product is fraught with burns. When applying the product, avoid the gentle area around the eyes, and be sure to use a soothing and pore-tightening mask after peeling. Means for dry cleaning the face at home can be prepared by yourself. But be careful! If you have sensitive skin, there are skin diseases, numerous birthmarks, or you have very thin skin, it is better to refuse such a peeling.
Before any cleaning, including chemical,it is necessary to consult with a dermatologist, which will tell you how to do it better, and what components will benefit your skin. We advise you to read:
