Cake with fish
If you want to surprise your man with yourculinary skills or just want to cook something quickly, then such pastries will become a real lifesaver for you. Ingredients:
- 2 raw eggs,
- Glass of mayonnaise;
- A glass of sour cream;
- A glass of flour;
- Half a teaspoon of hydrated soda;
- A pinch of salt.
For the filling:
- 2 cans of canned fish (in oil);
- 4 medium-sized potatoes;
- 2 onion heads.
Preparation: First, prepare the filling.Place the fish in a bowl and mash it with a fork into a paste, mixing the fish with the juice and butter. Wash, peel and coarsely grate the potatoes. Peel and chop the onions as finely as possible. The filling is almost ready. Turn on the oven and start making the dough. Place the mayonnaise and sour cream in a bowl, add the eggs and mix everything well. Now sift the flour and pour it into the same bowl. Add salt, soda and knead the dough, which should be quite liquid (like thick sour cream). Now take a suitable pie pan, grease it with vegetable oil and pour in half of the dough. Layer the filling:
- potatoes (half),
- a fish,
- bow,
- potatoes.
Fill the top of the pie with the remaining dough andWe send the form to the oven. Bake the pie for about an hour at 180-200 degrees. Note: Sour cream in this recipe can be replaced with mayonnaise and put in the dough not one, but two glasses of mayonnaise. In this case, you can not put salt at all.
Biscuit
Are you surprised? Yes, strange as it may seem, but mayonnaise is quite suitable for making biscuit dough. So sweet pastries with mayonnaise are another culinary intrigue. Ingredients:
- 3 eggs;
- A glass of sugar;
- Glass of mayonnaise;
- A half cup of flour;
- A bag of baking powder.
Preparation:Break the eggs into a bowl and mix well. Then pour all the sugar there and grind it with the eggs or beat with a mixer. Ideally, the sugar should completely dissolve. Now put the mayonnaise in the bowl and beat again. After that, mix the flour with the baking powder, sift and add to the mayonnaise-egg mixture. Beat at low speed with a mixer or just mix the dough well with a spoon. Take a baking pan, grease it with vegetable oil or margarine and sprinkle with flour. Pour the dough into the pan and bake for about thirty to forty minutes on moderate heat (in a preheated oven). Check the readiness of the biscuit with a dry toothpick. Note: Baking powder can be replaced with one teaspoon of baking soda, quenched with vinegar or citric acid.
Cheese cake
Cheese pie is prepared in the same way as fish pie with mayonnaise. However, we will prepare the dough a little differently. Ingredients:
- 3 eggs;
- A glass of flour;
- Glass of mayonnaise;
- 2 teaspoons baking powder for dough;
- Half a teaspoon of salt;
- Ground black pepper.
For the filling:
- 300 g of boiled sausage or ham;
- 100 g of cheese.
Preparation:For the filling, cut the sausage into small pieces and grate the cheese. For the dough, break the eggs into a bowl and put the mayonnaise in. Mix it all up and add the sifted flour, baking powder, salt and black pepper (a couple of pinches). Beat the dough with a mixer or whisk and put the sausage and cheese in it. Stir. Now turn on the oven and heat it up to 180°C. Grease the pan with vegetable oil, pour the prepared dough into it and bake the pie for about forty minutes. The finished pie can be eaten hot or cold – in any case, it will be very tasty! Note: This pie can also be made without cheese. Only in this case, you need to put less baking powder: instead of two teaspoons, only one and a half.
Cookies "School"
Cookies with mayonnaise are a separate story.This type of baking turns out light, crumbly and does not go stale for a long time. And there are a great many recipes for it. Try one of the versions of these cookies. Ingredients:
- 1 egg;
- Incomplete glass of sugar (three quarters);
- A packet of vanilla sugar;
- Glass of mayonnaise;
- Half a pound of flour;
- 2 teaspoons baking powder.
Preparation:Sift the flour and mix it with baking powder. In a separate bowl, grind (finish) the eggs with sugar and vanilla. - 2 eggs;
- A glass of sugar;
- Glass of mayonnaise;
- A half cup of flour;
- A teaspoon of soda.
For the filling:
- 100 g of edible poppy;
- Tablespoon of potato starch;
- Half a glass of milk;
- 5 tablespoons of sugar.
Preparation: First, let's make the filling.To do this, boil the milk and pour it over the poppy seeds. Add starch and sugar to the poppy seeds, and then boil the mixture for five to seven minutes. For the dough, combine the sugar with the eggs and grind everything into a homogeneous mass. Then add the mayonnaise, stir and put in the soda quenched with vinegar or lemon juice. Buns in mayonnaise
Here is a recipe for mayonnaise buns. To prepare delicious and soft buns we will need the following ingredients:
- 2 cups of milk;
- 2 eggs;
- Half a glass of sugar;
- One and a half tablespoons of dry yeast;
- 100 g of mayonnaise;
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- About a kilogram of flour.
Preparation:Warm the milk slightly and dissolve the yeast in it. Then add mayonnaise, sugar and eggs to the milk and mix everything well. Then pour in the sifted flour and knead the dough (soft and elastic). Put the dough in a bowl, spread it with vegetable oil and leave it to rise: in about thirty minutes the dough will rise. After that, form small balls from the risen dough, which will become buns. Warm the baking sheet slightly in the oven, grease it with vegetable oil and place the buns on the baking sheet. Wait until they rise slightly and put the baking sheet in the oven, where we leave it for about forty minutes. Take the finished buns out of the oven and, while still hot, grease them with sweet water. Sprinkle the pastries with sugar, kukh or sesame seeds.
Sweet pie with berries
Another original recipe for baking with mayonnaise. This time our baking will be cooked not in the oven, but in a frying pan. Ingredients:
- 250-300 g of frozen or fresh berries (currants, raspberries, cranberries);
- 2 tablespoons of sugar;
- Egg;
- Half a cup of mayonnaise;
- Half a teaspoon of soda;
- 100 grams (approximately) of flour.
Preparation:Break an egg into a bowl and put mayonnaise in there, then mix everything well. Now add a tablespoon of sugar, soda and mix again. Next, start adding flour into the dough, tablespoon by tablespoon. The result should be a dough of the consistency of sour cream, so adjust the amount of flour by eye. Now take a regular frying pan, grease it with oil and put it on the fire. When the frying pan is hot, pour the dough into it, put the berries in and sprinkle with the remaining sugar. Cover the frying pan with a lid and bake the pie on the lowest heat for fifteen to twenty minutes. That's it! Put the finished pie on a plate and serve. In fact, you can make any baked goods with mayonnaise. Surprisingly, its taste is not felt at all in the finished products. But the baked goods turn out ruddy, light and with a crispy crust. This feature of mayonnaise is explained by its composition, where the main ingredients are egg yolks and vegetable oil. Just keep in mind that you need to take natural mayonnaise for baking without any additives. There are practically no minuses (taste) to baking with mayonnaise - only pluses.
