Admit it:You are surprised by the very fact that there is a recipe for a pasta salad, aren't you? We are somehow used to seeing them as a side dish, a dressing in soup, or even a separate dish. But what about a salad! And in Italian cuisine, such a salad is a completely familiar and even ordinary dish. Here, for example, is a salad with pasta and ham. Let's try to cook it. And we offer you far from the only version of such a salad.
Italian salad with pasta and ham
Ingredients:
- Beef ham - 400 grams;
- Pasta - 400 grams (1 pack);
- Red bell pepper - 1 large pod;
- Fresh cucumber - 1 piece;
- Fresh tomatoes - 4 pieces;
- Corn canned - 1 can;
- Mayonnaise.
Preparation:We take the most common pasta – short tubes. Boil them in salted water with a teaspoon of olive oil, then drain the water and cool. Now we need to prepare the vegetables. Wash the pepper and remove the seeds and membranes. Peel the cucumber, and simply wash and dry the tomatoes. Cut all the vegetables into narrow thin strips and put them in a bowl. Add the boiled pasta and ham cut into thin strips to them. Put the corn in a bowl, from which we pre-drain the marinade, and season the salad with mayonnaise. Mix, add salt if necessary. Transfer the salad to a suitable dish and taste. Serve chilled.
Macaroni salad with ham and vegetables
Try to surprise your guests with this pasta and ham salad. It turns out not only delicious, but also very elegant due to the multi-colored vegetable mix included in its composition. Ingredients:
- Ham - 200 grams;
- Pasta - half a kilo;
- Zucchini courgettes - a pound;
- Carrots - 3 pieces;
- Vegetable oil.
Sauce:
- Olive oil - incomplete glass;
- Red wine vinegar - 3 tablespoons;
- Lemon juice - a half tablespoons;
- Dried basil - 2 teaspoons;
- Salt and black pepper on your own.
Preparation:Cook the pasta in a large amount of salted water with a teaspoon of olive oil. Pour them into the boiling water and cook for ten minutes. Then throw them into a colander, rinse under cold running water and let dry. Then put the pasta in a bowl, pour in the sauce, stir, cover with a lid and leave for several hours. For the sauce, mix olive oil, lemon juice, wine vinegar and basil. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste and shake. When the pasta has steeped, boil the carrots and zucchini until not fully cooked. Note that the vegetables should remain slightly crispy. Cool them, peel and cut the pulp into narrow strips. Cut the ham into cubes. Place the zucchini, carrots and ham in a bowl with the pasta, mix and transfer to a salad bowl. Our salad is ready! Note: Instead of frozen vegetables, try using canned corn and green peas and boiled carrots.
Pasta salad with ham and Ricotta sauce
This pasta and ham salad can add variety to your holiday menu. And don't let the everyday nature of the pasta it contains scare you. The taste of this salad is quite piquant. Ingredients:
- Macaroni (shells) - 200 grams;
- Champignons - 100 grams;
- Ham boiled and smoked - 300 grams;
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon;
- Ricotta cheese - 100 grams;
- Garlic - 1 piece;
- Sour cream - 6 tablespoons;
- French mustard - 2 tablespoons;
- Parsley (chopped) - 3 tablespoons;
- Table vinegar - 2 tablespoons;
- Salt, sugar and pepper - a quarter teaspoon;
- Green peas (freshly frozen) - 100 grams;
- Corn (freshly frozen) - 100 grams;
- Carrots (freshly frozen) - 100 grams.
- Green onions.
Preparation:Boil the shells in salted water with olive oil, put them in a colander and rinse. Boil the frozen vegetables (carrots, corn and green peas) too, remove from the water and cool. Pour vegetable oil into a roasting pan, add washed and chopped mushrooms and garlic and fry for about five minutes. Then add chopped parsley to the frying pan and continue to simmer until all the moisture has evaporated. Cut the ham into cubes. Put sour cream, mustard and vinegar in a salad bowl, add granulated sugar, salt and black pepper and beat everything lightly. Then add chopped cheese, fried mushrooms and boiled shells with vegetables to this mixture. Finally, add the ham and mix everything well. Sprinkle the salad with chopped green onions and put it in the refrigerator for about an hour. After this time, our salad with Ricotta sauce is ready!
Salad with green vermicelli and ham
We will prepare this salad with veryinteresting pasta - green ribbon vermicelli. However, if you do not have the opportunity to buy such vermicelli, then other pasta will do. Ingredients:
- Green ribbon vermicelli - 200 grams;
- Ham - 100 grams;
- Fresh tomatoes - 2 pieces;
- Soft cheese - 100 grams;
- Black olives - 10 pieces;
- Pesto sauce - 2 tablespoons;
- Wine vinegar - 2 tablespoons;
- Olive oil - 5 tablespoons;
- Black pepper - 2 pinch.
Preparation:So, boil the noodles until almost done and rinse them in cold water. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into slices. Cut the cheese into cubes and the ham into ribbons. Place the noodles, ham, tomatoes, cheese and olives in a salad bowl. Season the salad with pepper, salt and a whipped mixture of pesto sauce, wine vinegar and olive oil. Note: This salad will look especially festive if you decorate it with a rose of fresh tomatoes and green parsley leaves.
