Plov is not only delicious, but alsoa healthy traditional oriental dish, the preparation of which requires certain knowledge and skills. We will need the following ingredients:
- Raisins - 50 g;
- Mix of dried fruits - 50 g;
- Dried apricots — 10 pcs.;
- Apple - 1 pc.;
- Rice - 1 cup;
- Carrot - 1 pc.;
- Butter - 2 tbsp;
- Salt - to taste.
First of all, you should wash the raisins, dried apricots anddried fruits. Then cut the apple, carrot and dried apricots into thin strips. Place a cauldron or a frying pan with thick walls on the fire, heat it up, put butter in it. To prepare sweet pilaf with meat we will need:
- Rice - 800 g;
- Carrots - 500 g;
- Lamb - 500 g;
- Vegetable oil - 300 g;
- Onions - 100 g;
- Ground pepper, salt - to taste;
- Raisins - 150 g;
- Honey - 150 g.
Cut the meat into small pieces and place onpreheated frying pan with hot oil and fry. Chop the onion and carrot into thin strips, add to the meat and fry. After frying, transfer the meat with vegetables to a preheated cauldron, pour hot water there, salt, pepper, add spices and bring to a boil. Rinse the rice, put it in the cauldron on top of the meat with vegetables, level it and simmer until the liquid is absorbed into the rice. Then make indentations in the rice layer, pour 2 tablespoons of boiling water into them, cover with a lid and cook over low heat until the rice is ready.
