Blackheads are acne in which excessively thick sebum clogs the pore and comes into contact with the external environment. There are whiteheads - in this case, the sebum does not communicate with air. Ideal conditions for the reproduction of bacteria are created inside the clogged pore. They can lead to the appearance of inflammatory processes. The pimple increases in size, turns red, and can cause discomfort. There is a great temptation to squeeze it, but you should not do this. This can spread the infection to neighboring areas of the skin and worsen the situation. Squeezing often leaves unsightly scars. To prevent your reflection in the mirror from making your hair stand on end, you need to start treating the problem.
Declare war on pimples
Many measures have been developed against acne.If you lubricate locally inflamed pustules with hydrogen peroxide, then after a few days you can notice a good drying effect. The advantages of hydrogen peroxide are that it kills the upper layers of the skin at the site of the inflammatory element, destroys microorganisms and promotes a speedy recovery. However, applying hydrogen peroxide with a cotton pad to the entire skin is highly undesirable - this will lead to peeling and extremely unpleasant sensations. We do not need to kill healthy epidermal cells, right? It is also worth remembering that peroxide whitens the skin and take this into account when applying. There are several ways to use peroxide for acne. The simplest was described earlier - this is to apply a 3% solution locally to the inflamed areas. You can do it differently - add some peroxide to your favorite face lotion. Masks with this product are also very popular. A small amount of hydrogen peroxide plus yeast, sour cream or honey, and you get a real beauty recipe! You can add tea tree oil, aloe juice and other ingredients to the finished mask. Experiments are welcome. This mask is applied to the skin, left on for 15-20 minutes, and then carefully removed. The consistency of the mask should resemble sour cream. Layered application is allowed: one layer dries for 5 minutes, then another is applied. Regularity is important when using masks with hydrogen peroxide, at least once a week. Of course, a miracle will not happen on the very first day, but after a few weeks of such treatment, the skin condition will noticeably improve.
