As soon as you decide to save money and repeat the procedure at home, you get something unintelligible: the skin and cuticle around the nail is dirty, the polish lies in uneven stripes. What an injustice, because at home we used the same nail polish as in the salon! Surely, manicurists have some strictly guarded secret of how to paint nails correctly, and "mere mortals" are not supposed to know about it. You will need bright lighting, a small pillow under your arm (a rolled-up towel will do) and light, pleasant music. Is there any benefit from it, or do salons rip you off for it? Well, first of all, not everyone has perfect nails, some beauties have small irregularities and cracks on the nail plate. And when the nails are not painted, this is not visible at all. But as soon as you apply polish, especially a bright one, all the flaws become visible to the naked eye. In order to correct the situation and disguise the "ugliness", use base coats. Quite often they contain tiny particles of silk, talc and other useful substances. Secondly, any bright polish (even if it is indecently expensive) has pigments that penetrate deep into the nail plate. If you constantly use polish and do not use a base coat, your nails will soon acquire a yellowish tint. And then goodbye to the opportunity to walk around with unpainted nails or use light-colored nail polish! You will be forced to paint over the yellowness with bright polish constantly, worsening the condition of the nail plate. The most crucial moment: application of varnish

Always start painting your toenails with your little finger, gradually moving towards your thumb;

Do not try to make up the entire nail in one stroke. Begin painting from the middle, gradually moving to the base, and then to the sides of the nail;

If the nails are short, then take it on the brushas much nail polish as you need for one nail. In order for the varnish to lie evenly, every nail should be painted with a new portion of the varnish. Short nails can be visually lengthened, if on the sides leave unpainted margins.

Two-layer coating looks much more attractive than single-layer. Wait until the first layer of the varnish dries, and apply a second one;
