Modern doctors are sounding the alarm - verysad medical statistics say that there are fewer and fewer absolutely healthy people. And one of these scourges of our time is gastritis - very few people can boast of a perfectly healthy stomach. Moreover, all age groups without exception are susceptible to this disease - from preschoolers to the elderly. Gastritis is a very insidious disease, since it can proceed for quite a long time completely asymptomatically and a person does not even suspect what kind of misfortune he has encountered. And the disease does its dirty work in the meantime. There are quite a large number of types of gastritis, but today we will talk about one of the most common types - diffuse gastritis. Strictly speaking, diffuse gastritis is a consequence of first acute, and then chronic gastritis, left without attention and proper treatment.
Features and Symptoms
Diffuse chronic superficial gastritis- the disease is quite serious and should not be ignored under any circumstances, as there is a risk of developing stomach cancer. At the beginning of this disease, the gastric mucosa becomes inflamed, then this inflammatory process becomes chronic. After some time - in some people after a month, in others after a year - the mucous membrane begins to atrophy. First, the glandular cells die off, then the epithelial cells - they are replaced by fibrous tissue. This disease has symptoms similar to all other types of gastritis. Please note - they can be all at once, or only some of them:
- Painful sensations
At first, the pain appears extremely rarely andshort term, but as the disease progresses, painful sensations occur more and more often, and their intensity increases many times, sometimes significantly worsening the quality of life of the sick person. Pain can appear at any time of the day, but most often it occurs immediately after eating, especially not very healthy.
- Nausea and vomiting
Over time, in addition to pain, a person beginsexperience nausea, especially after eating. If the disease is in a very advanced stage, vomiting may join the nausea. After vomiting, as a rule, a person experiences significant relief.
- Weight loss
As you might guess, mucosal atrophymembranes inevitably leads to deterioration of the stomach function and, consequently, the entire digestive tract. And this can lead to weight loss, sometimes quite significant.
Dietary food
Treat diffuse chronic superficialgastritis is simply a must, and the sooner this treatment is started, the more effective it will be. But only if a person follows a therapeutic diet - without it, the treatment will be of no use, no matter how carefully you follow all the doctor's recommendations.
- What you can eat
It is necessary to strictly follow the sick person's menuexclude all artificial colors and preservatives, flavor enhancers, fatty and fried foods, sausages, sweets, coffee, carbonated drinks, alcohol. The main menu should consist of cereals, lean meats and fish, a small amount of fermented milk products.
- How to cook
All dishes must be exclusively boiled, baked in their own juice or steamed. Slimy soups are very useful - for example, rice soup. Also watch the temperature of the food - it should not be too cold or too hot. Ideally, it should be room temperature or a little warmer.
- Fractional power
Therapeutic nutrition should be exclusivefractional - portions should be small, about the size of a fist. And breaks between meals should not exceed two to three hours - this way you will provide your stomach with a gentle regime, without feeling hungry.
Folk recipes for the treatment of gastritis
Of course, a person who has chronicatrophic superficial gastritis, must seek help from a gastroenterologist. Firstly, the doctor will examine the patient, prescribe a number of tests and clarify the diagnosis, secondly, objectively assess the characteristics of the course of the disease and, in accordance with them, select the appropriate treatment for you. And your main task is to strictly follow his instructions and recommendations. But you should not ignore traditional medicine - it has a lot of recipes that will make chronic superficial atrophic gastritis retreat. Of course, the main treatment that the doctor prescribed for you should not be stopped under any circumstances. But traditional medicine recipes will be an excellent addition that will speed up recovery many times over. But remember that in some cases, the herbs included in a particular recipe can provoke the development of an allergic reaction. Therefore, if you are not completely sure of some recipe, it is better not to take risks and refuse it altogether. In addition, it is not worth taking risks and offering such treatment to children, teenagers and pregnant women - the risk of developing the same allergic reaction is too high.
- Gathering for pain and heartburn
If chronic atrophic superficialgastritis is accompanied not only by pain, but also by severe heartburn, you should try making the following infusion. Place one teaspoon of peppermint and calamus root, two tablespoons of St. John's wort and plantain, and a third of a teaspoon of caraway seeds in a thermos. Pour two glasses of boiling water over the herbs, close the thermos and leave to infuse for 12 hours. After that, carefully strain the infusion using gauze, pour into a glass bottle and store in the refrigerator. Every morning, on an empty stomach, drink two tablespoons of the infusion - most likely, heartburn will stop bothering you. But if it suddenly returns, immediately take a few spoons - in just a few minutes, the heartburn will subside. Such treatment should last at least a month in a row. If necessary, after a week's break, the course can be repeated.
- Collection against pain
If the pain is too strong, you can cooka slightly different decoction. By the way, there are often cases when after its regular use, chronic atrophic superficial gastritis completely recedes. To prepare it, you will need one tablespoon of licorice root, 5 fennel fruits, three tablespoons of linden blossom and half a teaspoon of peppermint. Place the herb in an enamel pan, pour in a liter of water and bring to a boil over low heat. Then remove from heat, cover the pan with a lid and wrap it in a thick terry towel, leave to infuse for at least three hours. Then carefully strain using a sieve or gauze, pour into any suitable container and store in the refrigerator. In order to cure chronic atrophic superficial gastritis, you need to drink half a glass of slightly warmed decoction twice a day - in the morning on an empty stomach and before bedtime. If the taste seems too unpleasant to you, you can add half a teaspoon of any natural honey. But, of course, only if you are not allergic to bee products - in this case, you need to replace honey with regular sugar. But do not overuse - chronic gastritis and sugar are poorly compatible.
- Flax-seed
The best way to overcome chronic atrophicGastritis - this is flaxseed. Our ancestors have been treating this disease in this way for centuries. There are two recipes - flaxseed decoction and flaxseed oil. Flaxseed decoction effectively dulls the pain itself, and flaxseed oil can make chronic gastritis recede. By the way, both of these remedies can be taken at the same time. To prepare flaxseed decoction, place five tablespoons of flax seeds in a saucepan, pour a glass of water and bring to a boil over very low heat. Then cool and strain, pour into a mug and drink immediately. The pain will subside very quickly - a maximum of 30 minutes. Do not prepare the decoction for future use - it is stored for no more than two hours. To prepare flaxseed oil, bring half a glass of any refined vegetable oil to a boil in a water bath. Pour 6 tablespoons of flax seeds into it and boil for at least 20 minutes, stirring constantly. Then the oil should cool, then pour into a dark glass container and seal tightly. Leave the oil to infuse in a dark place for about a week. After that, you can begin treatment - drink a teaspoon of flaxseed oil before each meal for two months. Even gastroenterologists confirm that in many such cases, chronic atrophic gastritis, if not completely disappears, then at least stops bothering the patient for a long time. In order for chronic gastritis not to worsen, it is necessary to undergo a preventive course of treatment once every six months.
- Potato juice
If you want to cure chronic gastritis inthe shortest time, you will have to tinker a little. A very effective remedy for this is the most common juice of raw potatoes. Wash one large potato tuber, grate it and squeeze out the juice using gauze, drink it. This procedure must be repeated three times a day - in the morning on an empty stomach, at lunch and in the evening, before bed. In the event that you are tormented by too much pain, it makes sense to take potato juice every two hours - in just a few days the pain will subside. The course of such treatment should last 14 days, after which you need to take a week's break and, if necessary, repeat it again.
- Pharmacy Chamomile
Ordinary chamomile from the pharmacy can solve the problem right awayseveral problems: relieve pain, eliminate heartburn and cure even the most persistent chronic gastritis. To do this, you need to drink half a glass of chamomile infusion in the morning and evening. It is very easy to prepare - pour five tablespoons of dry pharmacy chamomile into a teapot, pour a glass of boiling water and let it brew for an hour. Such a course of treatment should last at least one month. All these recipes in most cases can significantly improve your well-being. But remember - in no case should you stop the main treatment prescribed by the doctor.
