Ingredients:

  • 3 eggplant
  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • 3 cloves of garlic

Method of preparation:Eggplants are washed, the tails are cut off, then they are cut lengthwise, but not cut all the way to the end by about 1 centimeter, to get a kind of fan. For a round fan, eggplants are cut crosswise, in this case you can take sausage cheese for cooking the dish. Each slice of eggplant is lightly rubbed with salt and they are set aside for half an hour to drain the bitterness. When the allotted time has passed, the eggplants are washed under running water and be sure to dry. For the filling, finely chop the garlic, cut the tomatoes into thin slices and the cheese into the same thin slices. Filling is placed in each cut: cheese, tomatoes, garlic. Eggplants prepared in this way are placed on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil and poured with olive oil. To form a ruddy and appetizing crust, the fan is greased with mayonnaise. Bake the fan in the oven, which is preheated to a temperature of 180 degrees. The time of soaking will depend on the size of the eggplants, approximately 30 to 50 minutes. The readiness of the dish is checked by piercing the eggplant with a wooden stick. If it is soft, it is time to take the dish out of the oven.

Ingredients:

  • 1 eggplant
  • 200 gr. cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 100 gr. greens
  • vegetable oil

Eating an eggplant fan

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggplants
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 1 can of canned champignons
  • salt pepper

Method of preparation of Lenten Fan:The eggplant dish "fan" is prepared as follows: wash, lightly boil in lightly salted water for no more than 15 minutes. Then cut the eggplants lengthwise, slightly before reaching the tail. After this, lay the fan on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. For the filling, cut the champignons into small cubes. The size of the cubes is approximately 5-7 mm. Then the mushrooms are fried in vegetable oil. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes and lower them into cold water to make it easier to peel them. Peel the tomatoes and also cut them into cubes of the same size as the mushrooms. Separately fry the onions and carrots, cut in the same way as the other ingredients. Place the fried mushrooms, onions, carrots and the last layer - tomatoes on the eggplant. All layers should be lightly salted and peppered. When everything is ready for baking, the fan is poured with olive oil. The temperature in the oven should be 180 degrees. Since all the ingredients have already undergone heat treatment, the dish is prepared quickly - 15-20 minutes. You can use your imagination with this dish and bake eggplants with different fillings.
