If you do not process the wire cuts with a file and sandpaper, you can hurt not only the ear, but also your hands when putting on the earrings. In addition, you need to think carefully about the choice of metal for earrings. Brass and copper can cause severe irritation, oxidize and leave dark marks on the skin. Silver also often turns black when in contact with the skin. There is no point in wasting time making earrings if they will be unpleasant to wear later.
