Cake "Poppy seed"

The recipe for a fairly simple, but very tasty cake with poppy seeds and custard. Ingredients for the dough:

  • 4 eggs;
  • 100 grams of granulated sugar;
  • 100 grams of flour;
  • 130 grams of poppy seeds;
  • 100 grams of butter;
  • 1 gram of vanillin.

For the cream:

  • 6 egg yolks;
  • 2 cups of cream;
  • Half a glass of sugar;
  • A packet of vanilla sugar.

For the glaze

  • Tile of bitter chocolate;
  • 50 grams of butter.

Preparation: Separate the eggs into whites and yolks.Mix the yolks with granulated sugar and vanilla and beat with a mixer until fluffy and white. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until thick and stable. Take another bowl, pour in the sifted flour and dry poppy seeds and mix. Add the whipped whites and the flour-poppy seed mixture to the yolk mixture one by one, while gently mixing. Then pour in the melted and cooled butter, also very carefully mixing the dough. Pour the biscuit dough into a greased and floured mold and place the mold in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake the cake for about 40 minutes. Remove the finished biscuit from the oven and cool it a little right in the mold. Then remove it and divide it into four cakes. Leave the cakes to cool, and in the meantime prepare the custard. Grind the yolks with granulated sugar and vanilla sugar until white. Pour the cream into the pan and bring to a boil. As soon as the cream boils, remove it from the heat and pour in the yolks, constantly stirring the mixture in the pan. Put the mixture back on very low heat and, without stopping stirring, heat until the cream reaches the consistency of thick sour cream. Now you can assemble the cake. Take a form with detachable sides and put the first cake layer in it, generously pouring it with still hot custard. Put all the other cake layers in the same way (the top layer of cream) and leave the cake to soak - first for an hour at room temperature, and then for several hours in the refrigerator. After that, turn the cake upside down on a plate and pour chocolate glaze over it. To prepare the glaze, melt a bar of chocolate in a water bath and grind the melted chocolate with butter. Cake "Ministerial"

This recipe will be a little more complicated than the previous one, although the dough and cream for it are very easy to make. Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs;
  • 1 cup poppy;
  • 1 cup of sugar;
  • 1 cup of wheat flour;
  • A third of a teaspoon of baking soda.

For the cream:

  • A pack of butter;
  • 1 can of condensed milk;
  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder.

For decoration:

  • Chocolate shavings.

Preparation:You need to start preparing the cake a couple of days before the celebration! On the first day, soak the poppy seeds. To do this, break raw eggs into a bowl and pour dry poppy seeds into them. Mix this mixture thoroughly and put it in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, bake the cake layers. Pour sugar into the poppy seed mixture and add kefir and sifted flour. After that, add unslaked baking soda and mix everything well. Turn on the oven and heat to 180 degrees. Pour a third of the dough into a baking pan covered with parchment paper and greased with butter and bake the cake for 10 minutes. And so, in turn, bake two more cakes. Place all the cakes on a wire rack and leave to cool, and in the meantime make the cream. Place the softened butter in a saucepan, add cocoa and condensed milk. Mix the mixture and whip the cream until light brown. Now pierce the cooled cakes in many places with a knife so that the cream is absorbed better, since the cakes turn out to be quite dense during baking. Next, stack them, generously spreading each cake with cream. Also coat the sides and top of the cake with cream and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Cake "Black Rose"

A rather tricky poppy seed cake recipe. You'll have to tinker with it, but the recipe itself and the finished result are worth it! Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs;
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar;
  • 2 cups of flour;
  • 2 cups of sour cream;
  • 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder;
  • 2 teaspoons of hydrated soda.

For the roll:

  • 3 eggs;
  • 3 tablespoons flour;
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar.

Cream for cakes:

  • 5 eggs;
  • Half a glass of sugar;
  • A pack of butter;
  • 2 cups of milk;
  • 2 tablespoons of flour;
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee.

Cream for rolls:

  • 1 cup poppy;
  • Half a glass of sugar;
  • 3 tablespoons of custard.

Preparation: First, bake the cakes.To do this, grind the eggs with sugar until white, add sour cream, flour, cocoa and slaked soda. Pour the dough onto a baking sheet and bake (one after the other!) two rectangular cakes. Grease the baking sheet with butter and sprinkle with flour, and bake the cakes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. For the rolls, separate the eggs into yolks and whites. Grind the yolks with sugar and mix with flour, and beat the whites into a thick, stable foam. Then add the whites to the dough in small portions, stirring it carefully. Pour a third of the dough onto the same baking sheet in which the cakes were baked, having previously covered it with parchment paper, greased with butter and sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Bake one large cake, which is rolled into a roll while still hot and cooled in this state. In total, you need to bake three rolls of the same size. For the custard, mix eggs with sugar, flour, instant coffee and milk, heat over low heat until the consistency of sour cream and cool. Then beat this mixture with butter. Now make the cream for the rolls. Steam the poppy seeds and grind with sugar, then mix with the custard. Assemble the cake. Unroll the rolls, coat with cream and roll again. Spread one cake layer with custard and place the rolls on it. Spread them generously with custard on top, filling all the gaps, and cover with the second cake layer.
