From about the sixth week of pregnancy, constant nausea began, all forces disappeared somewhere, the world was filled with a lot of unpleasant odors. The road from home to work and back was torture and seemed endless. The bus trips were especially difficult. With all this, the headache was not even noticed. I spent my weekends lying on the couch, getting up mostly to run to the bathroom. This could no longer continue, the medications prescribed by the doctor did not help, and I turned to the Internet. I found several ways to deal with the signs of toxicosis and decided to try them on myself. Do not rush to get out of bed in the morning. Have breakfast in bed. Perhaps only on weekends, when a husband is nearby. 2. Do not leave your stomach empty, always have something to eat with you. Here, too, is the difficulty. What to eat between meals? Croutons, bagels and cookies? So you will get better before the baby grows in you. Dried fruits? At first I thought it was a good idea - healthy and sour. It was not so, my body did not accept such a snack. Apples? They only whet your appetite. Bananas? I could only eat them for two or three days in a row, then they began to cause disgust. In the end, I found one option for myself - cottage cheese with sour cream and jam (or a little sugar). 3. Walk at least half an hour a day. For a working pregnant woman, this advice is meaningless. Either there is no strength or time for this. Maybe a walk would help, I could not appreciate. The road from the metro to the office past endless eateries was enough for me to abandon this idea. Eat protein-rich foods. I would also add if you are not sick of them, as it was in my case. I became an involuntary vegetarian. Roughly the same applies to sauerkraut, which is highly recommended by doctors. They say, sour, rich in vitamins. I was looking for another source of these feelings. True, it seems, I never found it.
