What is acute bronchitis?

As a liquid, you can drink 3-4 cups of a decoction of diaphoretic herbs, such as sage, mint, linden blossom, elderberry with honey. When acute bronchitis is provoked, the classification of which can be very different, tea with dried or frozen raspberries has proven itself well - it makes no difference, except for jam. It is necessary to fast for several days, during which time only orange juice and water are allowed. Next, in order to simplify the separation of thick sputum, it is advisable to drink warm water or warm milk. You can also take onion juice internally, it is an excellent expectorant. The patient should be gradually transferred to a balanced diet. The patient should be put on a diet. The diet should be dairy and vegetable, excluding the use of extractive dishes, and it is also necessary to reduce the intake of allergenic foods. The patient is prescribed antiviral therapy, namely, intranasal administration of the drug or interferon in aerosols, 5 drops 4-6 times a day. If the patient has acute manifestations of ARVI, he is prescribed immunoglobulin and ribavirin for 3-5 days. Note that antibiotics are not included in the treatment of a person with acute bronchitis. In other words, antibiotics are not indicated for acute bronchitis. In acute bronchitis, the use of aerosol soda or soda-salt inhalations will be useful. It will also be very useful to use expectorants. These include marshmallow, iodine-alkaline mixtures, drugs "Lazolvan", "Bromhexine" and others. Postural drainage and vibration massage are recommended in case of abundant sputum secretion. Opinions about the usefulness of cupping, mustard plasters and the like have remained unconfirmed, as, in fact, the clinical effect of these manipulations. You can also use electrical procedures, such as electrophoresis, but this is not necessary.
Treatment with folk remedies
Acute bronchitis is well treated with folk remedies. Here are some recipes for treating acute bronchitis with alternative medicine:
- Recipe No. 1. Take 0.5 kg of onion and chop it.The prepared onion must be mixed with 400 g of sugar and 50 g of honey. Then, according to the recipe, add 1 liter of water and chopped onion. The resulting mixture must be boiled for 3 hours. Take 1 tablespoon orally several times (4–6) times a day.
