Salad with shrimps, oranges and curry
Ingredients:
- 500 grams of shrimp
- 2 oranges
- 2 handfuls of lettuce leaves
- clove of garlic
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- chili pepper
- tablespoon curry
- a tablespoon of brown sugar
- salt, pepper to taste
Method of preparation:Defrost the shrimp, remove the shells and dark veins and marinate with garlic, pepper, a spoon of olive oil and the juice of half an orange. Remove a few strips of zest from another orange, peel and cut into circles with a very sharp knife. Sprinkle with sugar and fry in olive oil. Remove the oranges, put the zest and curry in the same pan and lightly fry, add the marinated shrimp and squeeze the juice from the remaining half of the orange. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Place the washed and dried lettuce leaves, fried orange circles and shrimp on a plate. Slightly evaporate the sauce remaining in the pan, balance the taste, strain and pour over the salad, which is served warm.
Italian salad with shrimps and orange
Ingredients:
- 400 grams of shrimp
- 1 large orange
- 2 tablespoons of Italian herbs
- salt pepper
- clove of garlic
- chilli
- 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
- a handful of arrows
- a few stalks of green onions
Method of preparation:Defrost, clean and wash the shrimp. Grind all the spices and garlic in a mortar, sprinkle them over the shrimp and leave for about 30 minutes. Peel the orange, remove the partitions and cut into small pieces. Place the washed and dried arugula, orange pieces and shrimp, previously fried in olive oil, on a plate. Sprinkle the salad with shrimp and oranges with chopped pepper and green onions and drizzle with olive oil.
Salad with shrimps, oranges and apples
Ingredients:
- 400 grams of shrimp
- 2 oranges
- 1 apple
- bunch of green onions
- a handful of frieze lettuce
- 100 grams of light mayonnaise
- teaspoon Dijon mustard
- salt, pepper to taste

Method of preparation:Defrost the shrimp and boil them – if desired, you can add spices to the water that you like. Squeeze the juice from one orange, and carefully peel the other, remove the membranes and divide into pieces. Peel the apple and cut into slices (sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent darkening). Make a dressing from mayonnaise, orange juice and mustard. Put washed and dried lettuce leaves, orange pieces, shrimp and apples on a plate. Pour the prepared sauce over everything, sprinkle with green onions and garnish with herbs.
Asian salad with shrimps, oranges and sesame seeds
Ingredients:
- 500 grams of shrimp
- 2 egg whites
- 3-4 tablespoons of starch or rice flour
- 2 oranges
- small bunch of green onions
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 50 ml of vegetable oil
- salt, pepper to taste
Method of preparation:Beat egg whites with salt until foamy, gradually adding starch, pepper and sesame. Dip washed, peeled and dried shrimps into the resulting mixture and fry until golden brown - about 3 minutes. Place fried shrimps on a paper towel to get rid of excess oil. Squeeze the juice from one orange, mix it with sugar and soy sauce and pour into the pan. Cook until thickened. Place shrimps and orange slices on a plate, pour sauce over everything, sprinkle with green onions. This salad with shrimps and oranges can be served warm. Note. Stores sell raw frozen shrimps and boiled-frozen (they are pink). To prepare delicious salads and other dishes with shrimps, it is better to use a raw product.
