Crab stick salad is no longer a treat for anyonesurprise. Although quite recently crab sticks were a novelty, and salads with them were prepared exclusively on holidays. Today, without thinking twice, we take a pack of sticks out of the refrigerator and quickly whittle a light or hearty salad for lunch or dinner. But what if you diversify your everyday menu with a crab salad with apple? However, this version of crab salad is quite suitable for a festive feast. It depends on how you cook it. Let's try it?
Layered salad with crab sticks
A salad of crab sticks and apples can add variety to a festive menu. Especially if you layer this salad or even serve it in portions in transparent bowls or wide glasses. Ingredients:
- Packing (250 g) of crab sticks;
- 6 eggs;
- 1 ripe green apple;
- 100 g of cheese;
- 1 onion;
- 50 g of butter;
- 200 g of mayonnaise.
Preparation:First, boil the eggs hard, then cool them, peel them and separate the whites and yolks. Peel and chop the onion and cut the crab sticks into strips. Grate the cheese and egg white separately and grate the frozen butter and apple (also separately). Now you can assemble the salad:
- 1 layer - egg white;
- 2 layer - onion;
- 3 layer - cheese;
- 4 layer - butter;
- 5 layer - mayonnaise;
- 6 layer - crab sticks;
- 7 layer - apple;
- 8 layer - mayonnaise;
- 5 layer - crumb from egg yolk.
Sprinkle the salad with yolk, let it sit for about half an hour, and then serve.
Crab salad with apple and melted cheese
The second version of a delicate layered salad with apple and crab sticks. Ingredients:
- 2 packs of crab sticks;
- 1 large apple;
- 5 eggs;
- 2 processed cheese;
- 50 g of butter;
- Mayonnaise.
Preparation: We will also assemble the salad in layers.To do this, boil the eggs hard and separate them into whites and yolks. Freeze the butter in advance, and peel the apple and remove the hard core. Grate all the ingredients separately and put them into the salad:
- salted proteins;
- mayonnaise;
- crab sticks;
- an Apple;
- mayonnaise;
- processed cheese;
- butter;
- yolks;
- mayonnaise;
- crab sticks.
Decorate the salad with a mayonnaise net or simply spread the top layer with mayonnaise and decorate with herbs.
Crab salad with apple and pickled cucumbers
Ingredients:
- Packing of crab sticks;
- 2 apples;
- Half an onion;
- 4 eggs;
- 4 salted cucumber;
- Bank of green peas;
- Greenery;
- Mayonnaise and black pepper.
Preparation:Boil the eggs, cool them, peel and cut into small cubes. Cut the crab sticks and cucumbers in the same way. Peel the apples, remove the hard core and seeds and grate the apples. Chop the onion and greens. Put all the ingredients in a salad bowl, season with black pepper and mayonnaise and mix. Serve the salad chilled.
Crab salad with apple and corn
Ingredients:
- Packing of crab sticks;
- Big apple;
- A small can of corn;
- 4 eggs;
- Lemon juice;
- Sour cream.
Preparation:Boil the eggs, cool them and separate the yolks from the whites. Drain the marinade from the corn and put it in a salad bowl. Add the egg whites cut into strips and crab sticks. Peel the apple, remove the core, cut it into strips and put it in a salad bowl. Mix the boiled yolks with sour cream, add lemon juice and salt to taste. Grind the mixture into a homogeneous mass and season the salad.
Crab salad with apples, corn and greens
Another salad with apple, crab sticks and corn. Only we will cook it without mayonnaise and without eggs and add greens. Ingredients:
- A packet of crab sticks;
- Bank of sweet corn;
- Sour and sweet fresh apple;
- Fresh cucumber;
- Dill greens;
- Lemon juice.
Preparation:A nice feature of this salad is its quick preparation and dietary set of ingredients. So, defrost the crab sticks and cut them into cubes or bars - it doesn't matter. Cut the washed and peeled cucumber in the same way. Drain the marinade from the corn and put it in a salad bowl, where we add the chopped cucumbers and crab sticks. Wash and dry the bunch of dill, and then chop finely. Put the dill in the salad bowl and mix with the rest of the ingredients. Now wash and peel the apple, cut out the hard core and remove the seeds. Cut the apple into slices and put on top of the salad. Sprinkle with lemon juice. That's it - our diet salad is ready!
Crab salad with apple and tomato
This salad with crab sticks and apple is more suitable for the summer menu. Because really tasty tomatoes are only in season. Ingredients:
- Packing of crab sticks or crab meat;
- Fresh sweet and sour apple;
- Fresh tomato;
- Head of onions;
- Bank of green peas;
- Salt and mayonnaise.
Preparation:Wash the apple thoroughly, cut it into four parts and cut out the hard core. Wash the tomato, peel the onion and defrost the crab sticks. Now cut the sticks, apple and tomato into small pieces and chop the onion. Put the chopped onion in a salad bowl and squeeze it lightly with your hands so that it gives juice. Then add the apple and tomatoes, crab sticks and green peas to the onion. Season the salad with salt, put in the mayonnaise and mix.
"Olivier" with crab sticks and apple
Having prepared "Olivier" with crabsticks, we will at least get a little closer to the original recipe of this famous salad. The fact is that the real "Olivier" was prepared with crab meat and shrimp, later (during the USSR) the crab meat was replaced with boiled carrots. Well, we will try to make a salad without carrots, but with crab sticks. Ingredients:
- Packing of crab sticks;
- A large fresh jabolo;
- Chicken breast;
- 5 potatoes;
- Head of onions;
- 3 pickled cucumber;
- 5 eggs;
- Salt, mayonnaise.
Preparation:Boil chicken breast, jacket potatoes and eggs (all separately) in salted water. Cool the chicken meat, separate it from the bones and cut it into cubes. First cool the potatoes, then peel them and also cut them into cubes. Cut hard-boiled eggs, pickled cucumbers and crab sticks in the same way. Peel the apple and cut the pulp into very small pieces, and chop the onion very finely. Put all the prepared products in a salad bowl, add salt, season with mayonnaise and mix. If desired, you can replace the crab sticks with crab meat, and the pickled cucumbers with salted ones.
