It is believed that Western parents are moreemancipated than Russian mothers. They allow their babies more, they do not shine on them every five minutes and are deprived of any conventions. Their values lead to the example of women who are condemned, say, for breastfeeding in public places. But there are things that are unacceptable even for tolerant Europe with their "which is natural, it is not ugly." So, a few days ago, one of the popular British "Moms" swept the wave of indignation. "I had dinner in a pub, there was a family with a small child. So Mom planted the baby on the pot right in the middle of the pub, near her desk, "the indignant Briton wrote on the forum.Photo:GettyImagesThe woman added that the parents were having dinner with friends. And no one made a remark to them.“She had disposable liners for the potty. When the child had finished his business, she tied the liner and then threw it away,” said a witness to the situation. The participants in the discussion almost unanimously decided that such behavior was unacceptable.“Why not take this potty and go to the toilet with it? The parents are behaving disgustingly. Of course, they want to potty train the baby, but they don’t do such things in a public place.”“Poor child, no personal space.”“This is disgusting! Of course, going to the toilet is a natural process. But imagine if I came to a pub with a dog, put a plastic bag next to me and offered the dog to go to the toilet on it while everyone was eating.”Many were surprised why no one complained to the staff of the establishment and why no one said anything to the baby’s parents.“They should have been asked to leave altogether” – there are such radical statements. However, there seem to be quite a few such “advanced” parents in England: forum members recalled similar situations they found themselves in. It turns out that parents who support the formula “what’s natural is not ugly” are not embarrassed to make their little one pee-pee during a church service or at a bus stop. They also change their children’s disposable diapers in hotel lobbies, on coffee tables in waiting rooms, and even on dining tables. “When I reprimanded them, they looked at me as if I had said something humiliating,” recalls a witness to one such situation. But the “famous” family also had defenders. “They don’t pee in your dish. Live your life and let others live,” shout the fans of naturalness, noting that perhaps the mother didn’t have a second to take the baby to the toilet.
