Proper nutrition is the first step to healthwomen. Scientists have established the fact that we can reduce the risk of diseases if we give up bad habits and start eating right. Cookies, sweets, chocolate and semi-finished products have become the norm of modern man's life. It is more convenient for manufacturers to produce and store processed products than natural ones, for example, vegetables or fruits. But we must remember that the more processed products we eat, the less healthy we become. The trouble is that such processed products contain too much fat, sugar and salt, and it is these that we must give up for the sake of our healthy body.
What is proper nutrition?
Eating healthy doesn't mean cutting backfood consumption. Eating right means enjoying delicious food, not counting calories every time and not weighing small portions. 60% of our energy should come from carbohydrates, which are found in vegetables, fruits, rice, bread and potatoes, 30% from vegetable and butter fats, and 10% from proteins, which are found in meat and nuts. Today, our diet includes more proteins and fats than necessary, and fewer carbohydrates. Unfortunately, at the moment, starchy foods such as potatoes and rice have gone out of "fashion", since nutritionists fighting for our slim bodies have convinced everyone that this food makes us fat. But now we know that starchy foods give us energy and they should be the basis of our diet.
- Eat often and in small portions.
- Do not skip breakfast.
- Reduce your intake of fat. Instead of the usual frying of meat in oil, simmer, bake or grill it on the grill.
- Eat fruits and vegetables every day.
- Limit the use of alcohol.
- In order for your body to receive more calcium, go for low-calorie dairy products.
- For cooking, use olive oil or vegetable oil, instead of cream or baked fat, which contain saturated fatty acids.
- Give preference to ordinary clean water, rather than carbonated drinks.
- Reduce salt intake.
- Drink at least 1.5 - 2 liters of water per day.
Diversity
A proper, balanced diet involvesa wide variety of products. While, for example, an apple diet or a diet consisting of only carrots does not bring anything useful and healthy. Variety is the key to the health of the female body. Each product contains its own special nutritional and beneficial properties. For example, dairy products are rich in calcium, and carrots contain beta-carotene.
Moderation
You shouldn't set rigid boundaries for yourself anddrastically reduce the amount of food you eat, do it gradually. Remember, there are no good or bad foods. You can eat everything, but you need to know the measure in everything. You can even eat chocolate, cakes and cookies if you include them in a well-balanced diet.
Less fat
Fats are twice as caloric as carbohydrates andproteins, and also fats give dishes a special taste and stimulate the appetite. They are easily absorbed and accumulate in fat cells, while proteins and carbohydrates must undergo radical changes in order to turn into this very fat. Eating large amounts of fat is very harmful for, especially fat affects the heart. Products containing solid fats with saturated acids:
- Butter
- Cheese
- Sausages, ham, bacon, pate
- Chocolate
- Cakes
- Biscuits, cookies
- Coconut
- Cured fish oil and vegetable oil
Plant sources containing fats with unsaturated acids are healthier, but they should not be overused either:
- Sunflower oil
- Olive oil
- Peanut butter
- Corn oil
