Adnexitis in early pregnancy: treatment

Adnexitis may occur during pregnancyat any time, but most often it attacks the pregnant woman's body in the first trimester, when the woman's immunity is most suppressed. In such cases, it is important to diagnose the cause of its appearance in time. Depending on the cause of the disease, treatment is prescribed. But first of all, it is necessary to relieve inflammation and carry out a powerful antibacterial procedure. Unfortunately, in such cases, you cannot do without antibiotics, which quickly eliminate the inflammatory focus. In addition to antibiotics, drugs are prescribed to support the immune system. After completing a course of antibiotics, it is necessary to begin treatment of the vaginal microflora. Since adnexitis disrupts blood circulation, the baby may not receive enough nutrients and oxygen from the mother's blood, so it is worth treating the placenta with special drugs in combination. With timely intervention, outpatient treatment will last about 2 weeks. But in the future, the expectant mother will have to listen very carefully to her body in order to avoid a relapse of the disease.
