Stuffed peppers in the oven - one ofoptions for cooking bell peppers. Some housewives use minced meat for stuffing, while others prefer vegetable stuffing. Any of these options is a very tasty and satisfying dish. A properly prepared and beautifully decorated dish will decorate any festive table. When choosing a pepper, you should take into account some of its features. First of all, the vegetable should be of the correct shape, without various surface defects. Fleshy large fruits give the dish a sweetish taste. Thin ones, on the contrary, will make the dish spicier, since they contain a substance called capsaicin. According to nutritionists, the most useful are red fruits, since they contain lycopene, antioxidants and rutin. The next place is occupied by yellow fruits, since they contain xanthophyll. It is better not to use dark green peppers for stuffing, since they have an unpleasant grassy smell and acquire an unappetizing dark shade when cooked.
