The beauty of women's skin is most often directlydepends on how you take care of it. Of course, there are lucky women who start taking care of themselves only after thirty, having discovered a couple of wrinkles in the corners of their eyes, but, alas, the average woman should think about taking care of her skin much earlier. Creams and masks solve problems with moisturizing and smoothing out potential wrinkles, but without exfoliating dead particles, the effect will be incomplete. After all, youth is renewal. Any, even the most effective, cream (which, by the way, should not be overused) improves the tone of the skin of the face, whitens and moisturizes it, but does not remove keratinized unnecessary particles. What is the way out of this situation? Peeling! It comes in several types - mechanical, hardware, chemical. Which one to prefer is up to you, but in this article we will take a closer look at home peeling, because a good facial scrub is easiest to prepare yourself, thus avoiding worries about its composition. Of course, now any ready-made product has its components listed, but usually among several herbal names there are a dozen long Latin names, each of which should be typed into a search engine and carefully studied, what effect such components can have on an unprepared organism. But few people like such a prospect!
Facial scrubs. What it is?
A scrub is a cosmetic product consisting offrom a soft, caring base and an abrasive component. The latter can be ground coffee, salt, crushed pits or thoroughly crushed nut shells, and much more. Cosmetic clay or a neutral gel can be used as a base. What is the point of using scrubs, you ask? The fact is that this product removes dead skin particles from the skin and starts metabolic processes, due to which your skin looks young and healthy. Of course, you must take into account that facial scrubs should be much gentler than those for the body or, say, heels. Otherwise, the effect may be unpredictable. As mentioned above, a good scrub is one that you make yourself. In this case, you can adjust the degree of grinding of the abrasive particles, focusing on the condition of your skin - this way you will minimize the likelihood of damage to the skin. Before using at least one of the recipes below, make sure that you are not allergic to the supposed components. To check the ingredient that raises questions, apply a small amount to the inside of your elbow and leave it for a while. If the slightest signs of irritation or redness appear, choose another recipe that does not contain the substance that is allergenic to you. Do not risk your beauty and health in vain, no matter how attractive the recipe that is not suitable for you may seem! Like any cosmetic procedure, peeling is very rarely universal: you need to choose the composition taking into account your skin type. In addition, you should understand that the slightest violations of the skin (wounds, irritations, etc.) are a contraindication for the procedure. You should not get too carried away with scrubs in pursuit of eternal youth: excessive peeling, alas, injures the skin. It is best to use them in the evening, because after this procedure the skin needs to rest and recover, which is easier to do at night. In addition, after peeling, it is not recommended to go out in the sun for at least some time to protect the cleansed skin from damage and burns.
We clean the oily skin
Unfortunately, oily skin is consideredcosmetologists the most problematic. In summer, troubles become most obvious: blackheads appear, pores enlarged, unpleasant oily shine... A properly formulated scrub helps to solve some of these problems. We share with you the recipes of the most effective compositions for cleansing oily skin:
- From yogurt and yeast
Compound:a tablespoon of plain yogurt, lemon juice, carrot juice, dry yeast, vegetable oil. The last ingredient should not be added if the skin is very oily. Mix all the ingredients, apply and massage for twelve minutes. This vitamin facial scrub helps remove oily shine and, best of all, makes the skin matte.
- From strawberries and salt
Compound:three teaspoons of fine salt, three softened medium strawberries, preferably fresh, but frozen will do in a pinch, two spoons of any vegetable oil you like (olive, sunflower, sesame). Mix the ingredients, then apply the mixture to your face with gentle circular motions. Massage for a few minutes and leave the mixture until it dries slightly. Rinse with not too warm water.
- From yogurt, rice and Herculean flakes
Compound:rice and rolled oats (a tablespoon each), a little plain yogurt. Grind the dry ingredients in a coffee grinder, dilute with yogurt until it reaches the consistency of sour cream. Apply to face and massage for a few minutes. Rinse off thoroughly and apply a care cream.
- From kiwi and vegetable oil
Compound:a small kiwi, a little vegetable oil. Soften the fruit, add oil, gently apply to the face and massage. Be careful with this recipe: kiwi is a very caustic fruit, if you overdo it, you can injure your skin. On the other hand, a facial scrub made from it is very effective.
- From lemon juice, honey and bran
Compound:two large spoons of liquid honey, the same amount of lemon juice, one and a half teaspoons of wheat bran. Heat the honey in a water bath, add the remaining ingredients. Apply to the face, massage for five minutes, then rinse with fairly hot water.
- From yogurt and coffee grounds
Compound:a large spoon of coffee grounds, the same amount of plain yogurt. Mix and apply to the face, massage without much pressure for two minutes. Rinse. Regular peeling in the case of oily skin will bring an effect that is hard to imagine. Your skin will appreciate such attention and care. Firstly, the number of inflammations and rashes will decrease, and secondly, the oily shine will be significantly reduced. The main thing in this case is not to relax and continue to perform the procedures, without stopping immediately, as soon as the first results appear.
Clean the dry skin
Dry facial skin causes no less trouble thancombination or oily. These are just completely different problems. Unfortunately, it is those who have this type of skin who age earlier than others, if they do not start taking care of themselves at a young enough age. The main principle of caring for dry skin is to give it as much moisture as possible. For this, various products are used that retain water in the cells of the epidermis. Owners of dry skin should not wash their face more than twice a day, and it is advisable to use a special cleansing milk. Do not ignore scrubs, they are very important for dry skin, but you should not resort to this procedure more than once or twice (this is the maximum!) times a week. Here are the best scrub recipes for you:
- From banana, honey and sugar
Compound:three large spoons of fine sugar, a ripe banana, a small spoon of honey, a quarter of a small spoon of vanilla extract. Mash the banana, add the remaining ingredients, apply to the skin and massage for a few minutes. The main difficulty with this recipe is to resist the temptation and not eat the resulting peeling mass. Just in case, make a double portion!
- From milk, cottage cheese and orange-lemon peels
Compound:a small spoon of dried orange and lemon peels, pre-crushed, twice as much cottage cheese, a few drops of milk. Mix the ingredients thoroughly, rub onto slightly damp skin, massage thoroughly. Rinse with lukewarm water.
- From honey, eggs and chopped almonds
Compound:finely ground almonds in the amount of one tablespoon, the same amount of liquid honey and a chicken egg. Mix and slowly apply the mixture to the skin of the face with circular movements, where leave it for five to eight minutes and then rinse thoroughly.
- From mint, brown sugar and ginger powder
Compound:brown sugar (two large spoons), a tablespoon of quality olive oil and fairly liquid honey, a little crushed mint and powdered ginger. Mix, then, massaging the face, apply the mixture, leave for a short time and wash it off with plenty of not too hot water.
- From grapes and oat flakes
Compound:six to seven crushed grapes, a teaspoon of crushed rolled oats. Mix and leave until swollen. Apply the finished mixture to your face – you can massage the skin, but very gently and for no more than five minutes. Wash off the mixture after the procedure.
- From sour cream and sea salt
Ingredients: one teaspoon of sour cream and sea salt.Mix the ingredients, apply the mixture and massage. This simple facial scrub helps against peeling. If you do not have sour cream, you can use vegetable oils or cream - as you prefer. The main thing in caring for dry skin is not to overdo it. This is especially true for scrubs: as practice shows, it is quite easy to damage the surface of dry skin with excessive peeling. However, if you do everything in moderation, the result will please you.
We clean the combined skin of the face
Another problematic skin type.As the name suggests, it is a combination of dry skin on the temples and cheeks and oily skin on the so-called T-zone. The main problem in this case is the need to combine two types of skin care products. The good news is that with age, combination skin can change to normal. Scrubs for this type should be delicate and should not contain alkali. They can be used no more than three times a week. You can make the following compositions:
- From bread crumb, milk and baking soda
Compound:crumb of black or gray bread, two tablespoons of sour milk, two teaspoons of soda. Pour milk over the crumb, add soda and mix thoroughly. - From strawberries, honey and almond oil
Compound:a large spoon of softened strawberries, half a tablespoon of honey and the same amount of almond oil. Mix well, apply to the face and gently massage for several minutes. Then rinse off carefully and generously.
- From orange crusts and yoghurt or kefir
Compound:a large spoon of ground orange peels, the same amount of unsweetened natural yogurt or kefir. Mix, apply the mixture to the skin. Massage for two to three minutes, paying special attention to the T-zone. Rinse.
- From cottage cheese, rice flour and sugar
Compound:a tablespoon of cottage cheese and finely ground rice flour, half a tablespoon of oil (vegetable), granulated sugar in the same amount. Mix, spread the mixture over the face and massage for two to three minutes. This composition is best suited for winter care of combination skin, since the fatty components create a protective film on the skin.
- From butter, walnuts and quail eggs
Compound:two spoons (large) of ground walnuts, two small spoons of butter, two yolks of boiled quail eggs. Melt the butter, mix with the remaining ingredients, apply the gruel to the skin of the face, massage very carefully and leave for ten to twelve minutes. Wash thoroughly.
- From Hercules flakes, milk powder and mint
Compound:one and a half to two tablespoons of rolled oats, a large spoon of dry milk and mint. Grind the flakes with mint in a coffee grinder, add powdered milk, dilute with a small amount of water, apply to the skin, massage for a few minutes, rinse. We clean the normal skin of the face
This is a rare and virtually problem-free type.skin, which is most often found in young people (although it happens that combination skin, as we have already mentioned, turns into normal skin by adulthood). If you are lucky and have this type of skin, do not forget to pamper and cherish it. The best news: on such skin, the first serious wrinkles appear only after thirty-five. The most serious mistake made by many owners of normal skin is an excess of care. This is unacceptable, because it spoils healthy normal skin, makes it more capricious. In fact, this type of skin requires thorough cleansing and light care products. And, of course, periodic peeling. However, you should not use even the best (as it may seem to you) scrubs more often than once a week. And here are the compositions of scrubs that are right for you:
- From orange crusts, Herculean flakes and cream
Compound:two large spoons of crushed orange peels, the same amount of ground rolled oats and chilled cream. Mix the ingredients to form a paste, which should be applied to the face with massaging movements and left until dry. Rinse off the cleansing composition with cool, but pleasant for the skin water, then apply a light cream.
- From Hercules flakes and almond oil
Ingredients: a large spoon of ground rolled oats, a small spoon of almond oil. Mix, apply for twenty minutes, massage a little. Rinse off thoroughly.
