1. Let's get acquainted!
First, your baby just needs to understand whathe deals with. Touch, sort, pour from one palm to another. The activity is very pleasant - almost hypnotic. You can roll it into a ball, squeeze it in your fist - and the sand will leak through your fingers. Here you have fine motor skills - simple actions, but so useful.
2. I draw
Sand is a good helper in this matter too.Smooth out its surface with a roller and let your son or daughter draw on it with their fingers. Poke the soft surface to make holes, leave handprints. For older children, make the task more difficult by giving them a toothpick. “If you are learning to count or the alphabet, practice writing letters and numbers right on the sand,” advises Lyudmila Rabotyagova. “You’ll see how excitedly your little one will get down to business!”

3. Table skills
Does your child hold a spoon well?Can he use a knife? If not, you can have a fun training session! Roll out a long sausage and give the child a toy knife – let him cut it into small pieces. Having fortified himself with sausage, we move on to dessert – bake a pie and invite dolls and bears to visit. When everyone is gathered, we ask the child to divide the treat and put it on plates. Oh, the bear cub doesn’t know how to eat on his own, you need to help him! If the child takes a spoon and feeds a toy friend, he will also practice the skill of using cutlery.

5. Looking for treasure
The next level of hide and seek.We bury small coins in the sand and ask the child to find the pirate treasure. But not with his hands, but with tweezers or a small spoon, because the coins are enchanted! The work is not easy, but the result is worth it - the treasure can be exchanged for ice cream. And mom is happy that the child has completed an excellent exercise to develop dexterity and coordination.
6. The young gardener
We take an unnecessary box and fill it with “soil”- sand, of course. By the way, a toy truck will come to your aid here.
