Wet armpits – what could be more unpleasant? These include hard-to-wash stains on clothes, unpleasant odors, and irritation of the delicate skin in the armpit area. Moreover, many people are forced to face this problem not only in hot weather, but almost at any time of the year. Few of them are satisfied with this state of affairs. And this is quite natural. And a person begins to look for methods to solve the problem of intense sweating. As a rule, all methods come down to buying and using various deodorants and antiperspirants. However, doctors warn that all these cosmetic products are not as safe for human skin as it may seem at first glance. The principle of their action is simple - suppression of the activity of sweat glands. But at the same time, these same sweat glands are also clogged, which can lead to the development of certain complications. What to do? Let's try to find an answer to this pressing question together. And for this we will turn to nature for help. After all, there are a lot of very effective folk remedies for underarm sweating, which were successfully used by our ancestors.
Field horsetail
Horsetail very effectively regulates the work of sweat glands. It helps with the most severe sweating. To prepare the following remedy, you will need:
- 2 tablespoons dried field horsetail.
- 100 grams of any vodka.
Place the herb in a glass container and pour invodka, close the lid tightly and stir thoroughly. Leave it to infuse in a dark, cool place - best on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. It is necessary to infuse for 10 days, stirring occasionally. After 10 days, strain the alcohol tincture using gauze, add another 100 grams of clean, cold boiled water. That's it, the alcohol tincture is ready for use. By the way, it should also be stored in the refrigerator for no more than a year. It is very easy to use. Using cotton pads twice a day - morning and evening - it is necessary to wipe the skin in the armpit area with this tincture. Do not forget about simple precautions. Firstly, do not wipe the skin immediately after depilation, because alcohol, getting on microtraumas of the skin, causes discomfort. Although, in fairness, it should be noted that this is not harmful to health at all. Moreover, disinfection occurs. And secondly, do not use this remedy immediately before going out into the open sun - this can lead to the appearance of pigment spots. The duration of the course of treatment should be at least two weeks. And the first results will be noticeable on the third - fourth day of using the horsetail alcohol tincture.
Tea mushroom
Another very effective remedy forElimination of excessive underarm sweating is the most common kombucha, which is found in many homes. Everyone knows that you can get a delicious drink with the help of kombucha. But the healing substances of kombucha remain undeservedly forgotten. Moreover, you will not have to make any effort to treat sweating. It is enough to simply place the kombucha in water and care for it as usual. As a rule, this is done as follows. Kombucha is placed in a three-liter jar, filled with clean boiled water. Every day you need to add half a glass of weakly brewed tea and five tablespoons of granulated sugar. Please note - it is unacceptable to use kombucha less than four weeks old. Therefore, you can enjoy a delicious drink with a clear conscience for a month. And after a month, use the kombucha infusion to treat excessive sweating. You will only need cotton pads. Soak a cotton pad in the infusion and carefully wipe the armpits. This should be done as often as possible, but not less than five times a day. You will feel relief in a week, but the treatment should be continued for one month. If necessary - which happens very rarely - the treatment can be extended to two months. As people who have tried this recipe on themselves say, sweating does not return for about six months.
Oak bark
Don't forget about the beneficial properties of oak bark - it can help get rid of excessive underarm sweating. To do this, you need to prepare a decoction of oak bark. You will need:
- 2 teaspoons of chopped oak bark.
