It's time to call 70-year-old singer Renat Ibragimovour Mick Jagger. But not because of the similarity of musical tastes, but for the love of children. The leader of The Rolling Stones at 73 became a father for the eighth time. And Renat Islamovich at 70 is preparing to babysit his ninth baby - he recently went out with his 30-year-old wife, the changes in whose figure clearly indicate an upcoming addition to the family. 57-year-old Hugh Grant is also trying to catch up with his colleagues with many children - he will soon become a father for the fifth time. Well, it's easier for men. But for a woman, if she wants to become a mother, the window of opportunity does not exist endlessly, as determined by nature. Late childbirth at the age of over 40 is already associated with certain risks to the health of both the mother and the baby. We are now talking about traditional methods of reproduction, without freezing eggs, IVF and other achievements of modern medicine. Of course, there are exceptions – sometimes stars: for example, Halle Berry gave birth to a son at 46, and the wife of director Martin Scorsese gave him a daughter at 52! But still, this is more of an exception. Statistics are dispassionate: last year, only 0.3 percent of all women who gave birth were over 45 years old. But age restrictions do not apply to men. They retain the ability to produce healthy offspring until old age, as long as they are capable of anything in bed. Which, in fact, they prove by their actions – just look at our selection of celebrity men who became fathers not only at a respectable age, having crossed the half-century anniversary, but also at an advanced age. Which, of course, is not surprising: if a man is rich and famous (and not so long ago was irresistible), then there will never be a shortage of women willing to give birth to his child.
