Photo:Getty ImagesMore than one dissertation has been written about the benefits of kissing and hugging. And how about this twist: it turns out that by showing affection in front of their children, parents improve their health! American scientists have taken on the task of testing this hypothesis. Specialists from Wayne State University conducted a study involving 80 children aged 10 to 17 suffering from asthma, the Quartz website reports. The participants in the experiment were asked to keep a diary for several days, describing their well-being and mood, as well as how their parents showed their relationship with each other. And it turned out that those children whose mom and dad more often expressed love and affection had less frequent and weaker asthma symptoms. Hence the conclusion: it is good for health! - Parents should remember that children react emotionally not only to their relationships with their parents, but also to their relationships with each other, - the publication quotes one of the authors of the study. — These reactions directly affect children's health. What is interesting is that, as scientists note, quarrels in front of a child are not as scary as one might suppose, if they, in turn, end well — with reconciliation and the same kisses and hugs. So there is no need to be afraid to sort things out in front of children, the main thing is to do it scientifically.
