How to name a child: rare namesTwo sons and a cutie daughterPhoto:Arina Avetyan's personal archiveOn December 26, Armenian Arina and Greek Artemios from the city of Shakhty in the Rostov region became parents of triplets. "The babies were born right after the Greek Catholic Christmas of Christugin. This holiday gave the name to one of the sons - Christ, with the stress on the first syllable. Georgios was named after my brother, and my daughter Marina - after my mother-in-law. We tried to please our relatives. I do not rule out that names affect a person's destiny. We'll live and see," says the happy mother. "These are my first children. The pregnancy was going well, everyone was on positive emotions." The babies were born seven months old, so the mother and children spent three weeks in the perinatal center until the babies got stronger. "Now we are already at home, my mother helps me," says Arina. "Everything is well-coordinated: we fed them, changed their diapers, put them to bed. The children sleep, snore, cry, eat eight times a day – it would seem nothing special, but at the same time it is a huge miracle.” Arina is waiting for her husband to arrive from Greece. He has not yet seen the children, but calls literally every minute. And the new mother tries to sleep and recuperate every free minute. “Children are wonderful,” Arina shares her emotions. “Don’t be afraid, women, if you find out that you will have more than one baby. Where there is one, there will be two, and three – it makes no difference! You thought you would take care of one, but you will have two or three, you would cook for one, but you will have two or three. Believe me, you will have enough strength to cope with everything!”
