And this is where moms get the question: and how to properly wear a child playing with sand? Woman’s Day turned for competent commentary to Yulia Alexandrovna Klimova, Ph.D., pediatrician of the Children's Clinic of the European Medical Center.Photo:Getty imagesIndeed, mothers now have many questions about children's clothing. In winter and autumn, these questions were limited to the need to keep the baby clean and warm. In summer, we dress lightly, we want to finally expose our bodies to the sun and wind. But here children are in for various dangers: sunburn, insect bites, dirt from the ground and sand. How should a child who plays in a sandbox be dressed correctly? Of course, clothes for a walk should be comfortable, nothing should restrict movement, the baby should be able to move freely, bend over, run. In addition, the fabric of the clothes should be moisture and air permeable so that the baby does not overheat, and easy to wash.
City and country sandboxes
Unfortunately, public sandboxes are not yet availableare particularly clean. Playgrounds are often full of cheerful groups and stray animals. All this makes parents protect their children from possible infections that they may encounter while playing with sand. Sand tends to penetrate and get stuck in every fold. So it would be good to dress the child so that sand does not fall where it should not. That is, the elastic of the trousers should fit close to the body, and the shirt should not be tucked into the trousers, the fabric should not absorb moisture well in case the sand is slightly damp, and the child should be easy to shake off. I would also advise girls to wear some kind of trousers (shorts, breeches or leggings) in case they play in the sandbox. It is not very pleasant to find sand in intimate places after a walk.Photo: Getty images
Sand on the beach
When on the beach, children love to play aroundwith sand, building castles and various labyrinths. Beach sand, like sand in a sandbox, cannot serve as a model of cleanliness, despite the fact that its upper layers are disinfected for a long time by the scorching rays of the sun. The simplest proof of this is irritation, pimples on the skin and inflammation of the external genitalia of babies whose mothers risked completely undressing their children. As for the clothes on top, everything is more or less clear: a light Panama hat with a visor and neck protection, a light T-shirt if necessary, a suit with a UV filter if the radiation in the place of rest is especially intense. But what to wear underneath? Diapers? Panties? Maybe just naked? It is also useful to know:
