  • uterine bleeding,
  • hypertension of the uterus,
  • disorders of blood circulation in the placenta and fetal hypoxia.

How to eliminate cough during pregnancy?

The treatment of the expectant mother should be carried out understrict medical supervision. Uncontrolled use of many cough medicines is dangerous, especially during the first 12-14 weeks of pregnancy. As a rule, doctors recommend giving up synthetic medications and opting for herbal cough remedies or traditional recipes. Dry cough during pregnancy can be cured with remedies that thin mucus and facilitate its evacuation from the bronchi:

  • warm milk with a spoon of honey,
  • decoctions of lime flowers, sage, chamomile. Herbs are brewed at the rate of 1 tsp. for a glass of water, drink the infusion you need warm,
  • abundant warm drink: fruit drinks, compotes, light herbal teas,
  • gargling with a solution of soda or a decoction of chamomile.

With a damp cough to accelerate the recovery will help:

  • decoctions of yarrow and alternating in the form of drinking or inhalation,
  • syrups on the plant basis: bronchicum, gedelix, syrup from the root of the althaea. Strictly adhere to the recommended dosage.

Under strict prohibition:

  • self-medication and use of any methods of treatment and medications without consulting a doctor;
  • physiotherapeutic procedures - warming up, electrotherapy, cans, mustard plasters;
