Outerwear

We take our fur coats and sheepskin coats to the dry cleaners, and thenwe put them in fabric “breathable” covers and in a closet. A moth repellent is a must (it can be replaced by a sachet with dry geranium, lavender, wormwood, dried orange peels or scented soap). For especially valuable pieces of clothing, there are fur ones where you can hand over things for the whole summer. Down jackets and nylon jackets are perfectly washable at home - in the gentle cold wash mode in the washing machine.

Winter shoes

Before putting away your shoes for the seasonstorage, they must be thoroughly washed, dried, cleaned, lubricated with protective cream and aired. In addition, before long-term storage, experts advise disinfecting the shoes. To do this, you can use purchased products or disinfect at home: moisten two cotton swabs with vinegar essence and place them inside the shoes. Put the shoes themselves in a plastic bag and tie it tightly. In this position, the shoes need to be kept for 10-12 hours. After this, your boots are ready for storage. Insert straightening pads into them or stuff the toes with crumpled newspaper and, having put them in a box, feel free to send them to the closet or to the mezzanine.
