These are high-quality examples of the food industry, about two hundred exclusive types of sausages, cheeses, confectionery and groceries, and alcohol from all over Italy. These products can now only be purchased at the specialized Gastronom 1 on Red Square. The variety of tastes and sophistication of aromas of Italian products are confirmed by the characteristics of the producing regions, including their geographical specificity. The northern regions are represented by such products as bresaola, coppa, pancetta (all meat gastronomy), cold-pressed olive oil, artichokes. The central part of Italy is known throughout the world for its parmesan, prosciutto, mortadella, black and white truffles. And the southern regions demonstrate mozzarella cheese, sheep cheeses, sun-dried tomatoes, a wide range of jams and the famous red Sicilian oranges.
