Photo:Sergey Dzhevakhashvili— I can’t count how many times I’ve moved. I’ve changed husbands, and then apartments. When I broke up with my fourth husband, I couldn’t find the three-room apartment of my dreams for a whole year. I lived on Leninsky Prospekt, 20 minutes away from my mother. I wanted to live in the same or a neighboring house, because Yana would soon be going to school, and I was constantly on tour. Who would take her there, help her with her homework, if not her own grandmother? I was looking for a good three-room apartment. What if I get married again, and my beloved doesn’t have his own place? I’ll invite him to my place. I’m not one of those women who chooses a man by his wallet, the main thing is that he’s right for their heart. When I finally found the perfect option, it didn’t work out because the owners recognized me. Apparently, they thought that since she was an artist, she had a ton of money. They raised the price by 20 thousand dollars. And there were no extra funds. I was so upset that I even cried. I had to refuse. And then the realtor found me a two-room apartment in this area. Now I understand that I was in a hurry, I should have somehow managed, borrowed, but still bought a bigger place. But what can you do now?A photo: Sergey Dzhevahashvili There was enough room for the place, and then my stage costumes and ballet from six people occupied the wardrobe so that I could not find ordinary clothes. You climb behind a T-shirt, and you get sparkles and rhinestones! She began to put the dresses on the sofa, and still did not fit. At such rates, I would soon have nowhere to live, and then turned up a three-room apartment in a neighboring house. She turned into my studio. I cook and paint in the kitchen, I keep awards and my collection of shoes in the corridor, in the big room there is a hall for filming and interviewing, and in small rooms my suits, shoes, archive photos and documents. Here's an office. In it and at home, she thought it over herself. It's probably not good to say that, but a talented person is really talented in everything. There is in me a design vein. I remember how with my first husband Kolya Gulkin lived in Khrushchev, where the kitchen was two by two meters with an old refrigerator, which was inherited. Scary guard! So I pasted it with a double-sided tape, and on top a blue plush. Everyone came and gasped. Plush refrigerator! Since then, I constantly invent something and change the interior.Photo: Sergey Dzhevakhashvili
