"What the cake will be like depends on the imagination of the pastry chef and the customer. For example, this year, Kristina Asmus ordered a cake with a theatrical mask for her birthday. She had just returned from maternity leave and started working on new theatrical projects, and she really wanted to play up the theater theme. I sent Kristina photos of Venetian masks, she chose the one she liked, and in the end, this edible mask decorated a red velvet cake. And for the guests of the theatrical evening, the actress ordered chocolate frames with edible photos. I came up with the cake with Shrek for Joseph Prigozhin together with his daughter Anna. She wanted something original and mentioned that Prigozhin always has a huge number of phones with him. I suggested playing with not only the phones, but also Shrek. That's how the green cake came about, and on it Joseph and Shrek are calling each other. TV presenter Ksenia Borodina is my long-time client. March 8 was her birthday. Ksenia, as always, ordered a cake, and trusted me to decide what it would be like. We made a snow-white dessert with glowing caramel flowers. Inside the stem was a small LED, the size of a match head. The thick stems with the light bulb are the only inedible part of the cake."
