- Dima lives in this apartment on KutuzovskyAvenue is about ten years old. Something in her left from past masters. For example, huge crystal chandeliers in the rooms and stucco on the ceiling. Who will get rid of such beauty? And in the bedroom is an old parquet. Its appearance completely suits us, I don’t like just a creaking sound. We will think how to restore and save it.Photo: Sergey Dzhevakhashvili

First expelled red furniture

— When I first moved in with my husband, the apartmentwas more masculine. In the living room there was a huge red leather sofa and two armchairs in the same color. That is, the style was closer to an office. Now there is a completely different atmosphere. We made the room girlish: we put a soft carpet on the floor, banished the red furniture, built in a large white wardrobe, where all my bags, shoes, outfits are stored. But there is still not enough space for them. They do not fit, despite the fact that there are wardrobes both in the bedroom and in the hallway. Apparently, we need to give away some of the things again. By the way, the hallway has also undergone a transformation and has become lighter. We only did not change the interior doors with multi-colored stained glass. My husband's father ordered them from France. So we just touched up the painting.

Daughter loves cooking, and dad has no chance to lose weight

— In April 2015, Diana was born to us, andThe house has changed dramatically. Since then, the living room has also become a nursery. All her toys and books live here, and soon the chest of drawers and crib, which are currently in our bedroom, will move here. Our daughter is already three years old, and we decided that it was time to move her into a separate room. I am planning to make Dianka her own small dressing room and teach her to be tidy, so that she can hang all her dresses on hangers herself and understand that it will be easy for her to find any outfit this way. Diana's favorite place in the apartment is the kitchen. She also has her own toy kitchen, where she "cooks." But most of all, my daughter likes to cook for real. She wakes me up every morning with the words: "Let's go make a cake for daddy." Therefore, he has no chance of losing weight, because as soon as he wakes up, there are already pancakes, cheesecakes, or a pie on the table. My daughter will torture me if we don't bake something. She must work with the mixer, add flour, sugar and put everything in the oven.

I've been dreaming about a baroque style bathroom since college.

— Everything related to recreation, interior design, renovationand the choice of clothes, my husband leaves to me. He thinks that the way I want is right. The only thing we argued about in household chores was the color of the curtains in the bedroom. He categorically did not like the brown ones, but I convinced him. Dima would have done the bathtub differently too. But this room is entirely my project. I like to lie down, and my husband likes a shower, so we combined everything, installed both a cabin and a bathtub on legs, which I dreamed of since college. I studied in St. Petersburg at the University of Culture and walked past a plumbing store from the Gostiny Dvor metro station. There were simply incredibly chic bathtubs on legs in the Baroque style. I thought to myself that I would definitely have one someday. And the dream came true. By the way, this style is now back in fashion, such bathtubs often flash in modern music videos and films.
