More often, relatives ask me what I want to get for my birthday. If I know, I answer. But since life is such that you buy something out of necessity, then you solve the problems that arise more than once a year on holidays. Therefore, quite often I do not know what to say, nothing comes to mind or I understand that it will be difficult for my husband to find or choose some things. But even in such cases, I still get something nice as a gift. There have been no mistakes so far. Everything is going well. Perhaps this is wrong - you need to make life easier for your loved ones. So this time I could not collect my thoughts. Although my parents, husband, and friends asked. But I generally shied away on this matter. No ideas. I couldn’t put together and post my wish list. I’ll wait for surprises. I often receive jewelry from my husband. And that makes me happy too. But in the past, my husband gave me a telescope! That was unexpected… Buying a telescope, dragging it into the apartment and assembling it – I’ll tell you, it’s not an easy task. They gave me a serious piece of equipment. I dreamed of one, but I didn’t think it could be a surprise. It was delivered to the house somehow cunningly, at night. Vika stood guard while dad organized its transfer home in parts. I couldn’t understand why they were all whispering and running around. And when I saw it, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I’m sure my daughter will definitely give me a bouquet. Vika has loved doing this since she was little. For mom, it’s a separate pleasant topic. In our family, everyone has a refined taste in flowers. I don’t like giant bouquets, I like flowers with a scent. I find special pleasure in spring flowers that appear close to my birthday. I love hyacinths, peonies, and delicate irises with a subtle aroma. If there are a couple of roses in a bouquet that smell, I am especially happy.
Duck with a secret
We prepare the festive table partly on our own,We order some. I am in charge in the kitchen. There is usually meat on the table, but this time we decided to bake fish. I often cook meatloaf, a favorite dish of many, salmon. I try to choose not just a tasty dish, but one that can be made quickly enough. Tricky meat in wine sauce is difficult to prepare. Sometimes we bake duck. Sergey loves it. The most important thing when I cook duck is not to dirty the oven. Otherwise, splashes will fly and everything will smell terrible. My husband is very irritated by this, he likes everything to be neat. Therefore, I bake in culinary bags to prevent pollution of the environment. Otherwise, the duck recipe is simple: I put apples, dried apricots and caraway seeds inside. It is also good to grate the whole duck with it. You can use cabbage with caraway seeds for the filling. And in the oven for at least two hours. Although it depends on the bird.
