The fact that their son will die, parents have known since that day,as the boy was two years old. Luke suddenly began to gain weight rapidly. The reasons for this were not any: no changes in diet, no hormonal disorders. The diagnosis was terrible - the syndrome ROHHAD. This sudden obesity, caused by a violation of the hypothalamus, hyperventilation of the lungs, and dysregulation of the autonomic nervous system. The disease is not treated and ends with death in one hundred percent of cases. To live till 20 years yet to anybody sick of a symptom ROHHAD it was not possible. To parents of the boy it was necessary to reconcile only to that their son will die. When - no one knows. But it is precisely known that until the age of majority Luke will not live. Heart attacks in a child have become the norm of their life, and fear is the eternal companion of parents. But they tried to make the boy live an ordinary life, like his peers. Luka went to school (especially liked mathematics), went in for sports, went to the theater circle and adored his dog. Everyone loved him - both teachers and classmates. And the boy loved life.A photo: Wales on Sunday "Luke is our sunny bunny. He has incredible willpower and a wonderful sense of humor. He is such a mischief, "the priest of the church spoke of him to where Luka and his family went. The boy knew that he would die. But he was not worried, therefore. Luke knew how his parents would be grieved. And the deadly sick child, who felt at home in the intensive care unit, tried to comfort his parents: "I'm ready to go to heaven," Luka told the pope. These words the child's father said at the funeral of the boy. Luke died a month after he turned 11 years old. The baby did not suffer another heart attack. "Luke is now free from pain, free of suffering. He went into a better world, "said Angelo, the father of the child, standing over a coffin painted in all colors of the rainbow. Luke wanted his farewell to him not to be bitter-he loved it when joy reigned around him. - Life is a valuable gift. Enjoy every minute, as Luke did. He was involved in charity work in a very adult way: he helped organize races to help seriously ill people, and practically opened a store himself, the proceeds from which also went to saving other people's lives. Even after his death, the boy gave other people hope. He became a posthumous donor and thus saved three lives, including one child. “In his short life, Luka touched so many lives, brought so many smiles and laughter. He will live forever in hearts and memories. I want the whole world to know how proud we are to have been Luka's parents. We love him more than life itself. My beautiful, wonderful boy, I love you,” Luka's mother wrote on the day of her beloved son's funeral.
