Soothing baths for babies from herbs
Herbal baths will help calm the baby's nervous system. They are recommended for capricious babies who are easily excitable and sleep poorly. - Fennel, chamomile, licorice and althea root. Mix 1 tbsp. l. each herb, pour 1-2 liters of boiling water, let it brew for 1 hour.
- Thymus, valerian, oregano and motherwort. Take 1 tbsp each. herbs, pour 1 liter of boiling water and leave for 30 minutes.
- Sporish and motherwort. Mix 2 tbsp. l. herbs and pour 300 ml of water. Insist 30-40 minutes.
- Calendula, lemon balm or mint and oregano. Take 2 tablespoons each. l. flowers and herbs, pour 2 liters of boiling water. Insist 15 minutes.
- Birch leaves, chamomile and string. For 1 tbsp. l. herbs pour 1 liter of boiling water and leave for 15 minutes.
Strain the resulting infusions through a sieve orgauze, and then pour them into the bath. The bath temperature should be 36-37 C. After it, the baby should rest for half an hour. Baths should not be taken on an empty stomach or immediately after feeding.
Salt bath for infants
Salt baths also calm the nervous system.In addition, they strengthen bones. They are prescribed to babies who have rickets. It is recommended to take such baths without a doctor's prescription from six months. Add 100 g of salt to 10 liters of water. Use sea salt, which is rich in microelements. Bathing lasts 10 minutes. After it, rinse the baby's skin with clean water to avoid irritation. Take a bath 3 times a week. The number of procedures is 20.
Coniferous baths for babies
Coniferous baths are given to babies starting from the first month. They have a number of useful properties:
- strengthen immunity;
- regulate sleep;
- treat skin diseases;
- have a calming effect.
Coniferous baths are made using essential oilsconiferous trees. Add 1.5-2 ml of oil per 10 liters of water. If you are making a bath of pine needles, then add 300-400 g per bath. Do baths an hour before bedtime. The bath should last no more than 20 minutes. Do 20 procedures. A mixed pine-salt bath has a healing effect on rickets.
