1. Coming Together

Do you often organize parties? So, with guests, gifts, contests and treats? Probably, like all of us, only on New Year's, birthdays, and special dates. And Halloween is another reason to get together with families. Send out invitations to your friends and warn them that there will be a dress code: only witches, ghosts and other evil spirits are allowed to the party. Let them fantasize about costumes. You can even arrange a competition for the best outfit with fun prizes. And what a photo shoot it will be - just awful!Photo: GettyImages

2. Fantasy - to freedom

Halloween is not only a masquerade, but alsocreativity. Let your child use their imagination. Especially since kids like to add some homemade decorations to their interior. For example, you can make a garland of bats out of paper, hang artificial cobwebs in the corners. You might even stop being afraid of spiders. You can call dad for help and turn a pumpkin into a Jack-o'-lantern together. And with mom, bake some original holiday cookies in the shape of fingers with claws or some other fear. Scary, but fun! And it's useful - when you and your children do something together, it's very beneficial for your relationship.

3. To fall into childhood

Well, who among us doesn’t want everything from time to time?quit, forget about your adult responsibilities and feel like a child? Halloween is a great opportunity for this. Indulging in silly, but such pleasant fun and fooling around with your children, you will not only become closer to your child, but also relieve everyday stress. There is, perhaps, only one “but”. Costumes, treats and games are, of course, good. But the main thing in such a matter is not to get carried away and not to turn family gatherings into Satan’s ball. If there are very small children in your circle, keep in mind that too scary mummers can scare them. For example, a teenager will be delighted with a zombie mask, but a two-three year old child may burst into tears from fear. Child psychologist Ekaterina Pavlenkova:Ekaterina Pavlenkova— Preschoolers still have a weak and unformedpsyche. They have trouble distinguishing between fairy tales and reality. Teenagers are another matter. They need to try on different roles, and it can be useful for them to experience for themselves what good and evil are.
