To give birth to the most difficult. It hurts, often long, sometimes impossible. Then the doctor announces that there is no way out: only Caesarean. Some “natural women” look down on those who have gone through the operation. Even a little contempt. Like, and not strained at all. All done for you. Not even some kind of birth. But this is abdominal surgery. There are risks there, and pain too, and blood, and fear. “It’s stupid to talk about a Caesarean, which is a simple way out,” wrote Ray Lee on her Facebook page. She just became a wonderful boy's mom. And yes - she did a caesarean.1/3 Photo: @Raye.Raccoon Photo: @Raye.RaccoonPhoto: @Raye.RaccoonRaye honestly tried to give birth on her own. 38 hours after the contractions began, she was absolutely exhausted. It became clear that Ray would not be able to give birth without the intervention of doctors. Further attempts were already dangerous for the child. She was sent for an emergency cesarean. “This was my most painful experience,” wrote Ray. And she has something to compare with, because she is an extreme sports fan. Ray dances with fire - literally. She has several “fire-breathing” numbers. And tattoos and piercings are also not the most pleasant experiences, I must say. But the surgery ... It was impossible to compare it to anything. “I imagined the birth of my son completely differently. I was afraid to get up. After all, it meant lifting a body cut in the middle and stitched up again from the bed. It still hurts. Muscles, skin, a terrible scar ... Everything hurts,” she describes her feelings. Her post has been shared more than 10,000 times in just four days. And the comments were both supportive and critical. Mostly the former, of course. “I was physically unable to give birth on my own. A C-section saved my life and my baby’s. And no one can say that I’m some kind of bad mother for not being able to give birth on my own!” the women wrote. Moms. Then Ray had to delete the post, maybe because of the criticism, or maybe because someone complained about the unpleasant pictures: she had attached pictures of her belly to the post, which showed a scar that hadn’t completely healed yet. Then people started leaving comments under Ray’s other posts. “I’ve had two C-sections. My eldest son is already 20 years old, and I still remember the pain. A C-section is not an easy way out. It’s pain that stays with you for the rest of your life. There’s nothing simple about it,” the women who have had C-sections write. “I’ve been through it. And every time I see my son’s smile in the morning, I know it was all worth it,” Ray concludes.
